Nam is an ordinary, unattractive 14-year-old girl secretly in love with a popular boy in school named Shone. Wanting to catch his attention, she tries various ways to get close to him. Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
