The Vault (2017)

Wow! Such a good movie.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

I had this one on my list to watch for a long time, but I let the low user reviews and ratings sway me. Finally last night we watched it. SO good. It is a very different kind of ghost story, but full of surprises and creepiness. There were some seriously creepy scenes and I know I jumped several times. The antagonists were just obnoxious enough that you were happy to see them have some challenges. The ghosts were scary and unexpected. If you are looking for a fun scare, give this a try. Loved it.

Dear Humans, If you thought you have seen a great movie , it means you have seen maybe 6 ... seven at a push. Weak, poor acting and forgetable characters come to mind. James Franco brings to the table basically nothing, to be honest it feels like he takes away. He physically steals other actors ability to perform. That talet should be kept in a vault... and be frgotten foreer. K

So what if it's a little...check that...a LOT, incoherent. "The Vault" serves it's purpose as a mid-level bank heist horror flick chock-full of gross-out images, zombies and an apparently unkillable bogeyman.What more could you possibly want? Okay, except maybe the coherence thing.

This movie falls into multiple genre and I think it succeeds in all of them. This movie works as action, thriller and horror movie. + Good cast, not all are well known but roles are well cast. + Every actor did their best even the extras. + writing and Direction is really good. + BGM matches very well and kinda acts as the catalyst to the whole situation accordingly. + There is qite a few twists at the end. + Very short movie, doesn't bore you. Never really unravelled the mystery of the masked robber.Leaves one or two loose ends.The script is done in such a way that you feel sorry for both the hostages and robbers. There is a backstory for everyone the bank, robbers, and the assistant bank manager played by James Franco but it takes it's time to show you what's what and who's who. I enjoyed this movie and never felt bored I was entertained very well.
