Hereditary (2018)

Admirable film.

It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

One of the best film ever, original and frightening.

The movie is too boring and the ending is not up to the level and is not worthy of waiting all this long time specially that it's boring as i mentioned before

Hereditary I would give an 8.2/10. Here are the reasons why I loved it and some parts I didn't like about it.Positive Thoughts: Hereditary is definitely not one of those horror movies that are meant for the mainstream audience to watch such as "mother!" and are used to horror movies that mostly have jump scares like IT or Insidious. Instead, this doesnt have any jump scares and has the tendency to make you linger and get chills down your spine. Toni Collettes performance as Annie was phenomenal and will be unforgettable because of how much character she brought to life inside after Charlie, the daughter of the Graham family died and turns out to be more serious and insanely horrific. The cinematography is brilliant because its unusual from other movies I have seen before. Also, the music score is beyond amazing and causes me to think and get spooked while listening to the spine-tingling music. Negative Thoughts: What I most disliked about Hereditary was that I thought the trailer was very misleading after watching this in theaters. When I first saw the trailer, I thought it would be about the Graham family getting cursed by the grandma after she passes away and Annie (Toni Collette) was getting possessed by her mother while Charlie (Milly Shapiro) was seeing visions of her grandma, but instead Annie was never possessed and Charlie ended up being decapitated after 30 minutes into the movie. Another dislike was Alex Wolffs acting, in my opinion his performance made me cringe. I thought his character was nothing but whiny and filled with angst. And the last 18 minutes of it made me and my two sisters laugh. I found it funny because I felt as if the producers tried too hard to make the ending seem more frightening but it seemed more hilarious, I think it would have been better off with a different ending.Regardless of my dislikes about Hereditary, it is an amazing horror movie and I would recommend anyone who has never seen it to go and watch it.

I really agree to ALL ratings with 1star. Waste of time, drama, crazy mother getting nuts of dead child, naaaaah - tooooooo much of drama. Absolutely hated this movie. Now sitting at bar and drinking limoncello while my 2 boys finish to watch that sh**!
