Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
A story that's too fascinating to pass by...
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
The acting in this movie is really good.
It all started with him flying the plane.. I got up and grabbed a few snacks, made a drink, did my brother's homework, went to college and graduated, got mrried, had 4 kids, and boom. He was still flying the plane...
This one gets 1 star because it's the lowest IMDb will allow. While I love Redcliffe, the film was completely ridiculous. The "bad guys" had the worst and most nonsensical lines ever, the wife was a whiny childish woman we didn't really want to hear because (ugh... no spoilers), and none of the pieces of the film connect to make an interesting suspense you want to sit and watch from beginning to end. There's a SLIGHT BIT OF EXCITEMENT at the very end (no spoilers), but then it gets cut abruptly and forwarded to a random happy ending. I guess one of the bad guys came through? Like the tootsieroll center of a tootsie pop, we will never know. Who accepted this script for Radcliffe? Crazy.
The plot is simplistic, the dialogue is the same, the acting just so so.. Whoever convinced Daniel that sitting in a cockpit of a plane for most of a movie would be riveting viewing should be fired. It was boring , silly, and the end of the movie just hammered the final nail into this utterly disappointing attempt at a thriller. Do not waste your time even out of curiosity.
Terribad B movie. I'd love to say that it was good like Buried (2010) with Ryan Reynolds, but it was awful. Daniel Radcliffe is basically in a cockpit for almost the entire duration of the film. The acting is subpar, the plot is dumb, and I wasted 89 minutes of my life watching it.
