Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

Excellent Sci-fi, worth it for the authentic period scenes alone. Great casting and production design, with just the right amount of characters to weave a magnetic noir thriller. The period sections include professional dancers and bands; this has been brilliantly crafted. Another chameleon appearance by Vincent D'Onofrio too. Some philosophical questions dominate. Well worth the watch

This is the type of head-funk film that you need to watch twice. Although having now watched it twice I think that you should only ever watch it once – a lot is lost on the second viewing. It is confusing but when you get your head around the concept it becomes very interesting and pertinent. One problem though is that this kind of film will date badly. It already looks a bit preposterous in some ways. Possibly that was deliberate as nothing is tangible. Or should that be nothing is intangible? Just want to confirm that the effects look cheesy but overall it is fine to watch – the camera-work was a touch static – I do like that jittery new style. Apart from the strong thoughts that I cannot get out of my head I would still say how powerful this exploration into our mind's reality is. A little more action and graphical effects would have been nice although this is only a minor gripe. It is possibly a bit predictable too but not a long way in advance. Made me think a little too much possibly, I may unravel the mystery... The tacked-on love story is stupid but the premise is clever and gripping.

Great movie about computers and with the Porsche with Craig Bierko, who I haven't known of him in any other film. Which means he's a great actor in which deserves to be placed in the spotlight. This movie is amazing, The Thirteenth Floor.Creation in the name of love and passion. Any ETA is possible when passion is involved. Envision this epic film and it will drive your creativity beyond your wildest dreams. With the Sound-Design team of Cloverfield because they movie had the best sound-design ever next to Jurassic Park by Steven Spielberg. Who certainly has exactly the director skills to approach and complete a masterpiece of such a project.New movie to begin by production by the 30th of June 2017, where Walt Disney will begin the story and casting. Which will be written by perfection by the end of 2017. In which will film for as long as they need and release by the end of 2018.How about a movie where he owns a Porsche 959 actually this time. Souped up and with a crackly powerful exhaust/ intake system. Where he owns a virtual reality system, in which his company that he designed is on the verge of amazing things.Worlds of total bliss and fantasy and wonder. Like a heavenly wizard of oz like world. Where the reality of the real world is nothing like the worlds in which he creates. Where he has an amazing lover with children and life in his virtual world is total bliss. Where he creates as he walks through his world and creates and controls in his world like a wizard. Creating mountains and streams and villages of wonderful people and animals. Like an Action/ Adventure/ Comedy/ Family movie. Where he's a cool dude living a harsh life in reality, where he spends most of his time in the reality simulator. Where he is in love with his lover and she's crazy super amazing and beautiful as ever. She's the cute redhead from Wedding Crasher's. Where it's a family adventure through wonderland in contrast to the reality beyond what he has created. Which really blows your mind the difference between the two worlds. Where they both have lots of fun with each other and he & her are really devious and they are in such an intense loving relationship. They are lovers that only know of love and nothing will break their love for each other. Unlike binding a legal contract with marriage, in their hearts they know they will love each other forever and forever. Nothing will every separate their family apart ever. Just to advocate True Love goes beyond a legal binding contract, it's an intense spiritual bond between a man, a woman, and their beautiful children forever and always. Love Everlasting. The plot is he, Craig Bierko wakes up in his bed with all his 3 children (todler's) with his lover (the cute redhead from Wedding Crasher's). Where it's straight away a fun adventure in a harsh world where he Craig Bierko wants to live in a perfect world for his family. In which they all safely are able to spend years in while in a hibernation state in which is non-fictional are far as bodily functions goes (they are fine forever in the reality simulator). Where they visit a water park and his lover has an incredible swimsuit that is so gorgeous and sexy, even Craig Bierko is constantly like "Wow she's hot". Where one of their children was almost lost by sliding off a water slide and falling into nets specially designed to these rare incidents. It upset his whole family so much, that he Craig Bierko went to work on a fantasy world of wonder and majesty in which no such things could ever take place. In which time his whole family enters the simulator and lives for 8 years in the simulator after first testing for an hour or 2 at first just to see if everyone loves it. Once the 8 years takes place they go through all kinds of amazing adventures in a wonderful world of bliss, love, and happiness. With a Wizard Of Oz-like world yet way cooler with space ships and flight. As well as high speed driving for fun all over his world he created for his family. To visit portions of dinosaurs, and theme parks just like in the real world but free and totally safe. He can also create his own theme park in which is totally unreal with his hands and mind like a wizard of might and magic. Finally the 8 years is over and they loved it so much. He gets to work on a indefinite solution to live in his world. From which will line up perfectly a sequel among many more.Epic film making with long slow wide aspect film of light and blissful music by John Williams. Amazing movie by the way, The Thirteenth Floor.

In 1937, a man named Fuller (Armin Mueller-Stahl) gives a note to Ashton (Vincent D'Onofrio), the bartender at a swank hotel, that's addressed to Douglas Hall (Craig Bierko). Fuller tells Ashton it's crucial that no one else sees the note, and that the information enclosed is of great importance. Moments later, Fuller transports himself to 1998. He's soon found murdered, and a shirt stained with Fuller's blood is found in Hall's apartment. Fuller and Hall both work for Intergraph Computer Systems, a cutting edge artificial intelligence firm, and the "past" Fuller was visiting was actually a stunningly realistic recreation of Los Angeles 50 years ago, complete with people you can meet and places you can visit, that exists only in a microchip. The message he left with Ashton, however, is real. Some people, including LAPD detective Larry McBain (Dennis Haysbert) believe Hall murdered Fuller to assume his position of leadership at Intergraph. Jane (Gretchen Mol), Fuller's daughter, soon arrives on the scene, and Hall finds himself infatuated; Hall is determined to clear his name, so with the help of Whitney (also played by (Vincent D'Onofrio), he into the virtual 1937 in hopes of discovering just what happened. The Thirteenth Floor makes copious use of digital effects technology to allow its characters to travel between 1937 and 1998 - ironically using computer technology to create a world that exists inside a computer.
