Crappy film
It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
I thoroughly enjoyed the film, sad there will not be a sequel due to it flopping, love any new entry's to science fiction, enjoyed it as a whole with stunning scenery and a diverse settings, acting was well and always enjoy Cera on the screen would love a follow up but doubtfull
Was one of the last great adventure movies i seen in the last 10 years. This movie make me remember those adventure movies i saw in the 80s/90s but with great special effect. Love it.
Visually beautiful but apart from that, it felt like it was conceived, produced and acted by high school kids. This film is about as amateur as it gets, masked by high end special effects!
As a longtime user of IMDB, this is the first time I have felt so compelled to write a review for a movie. Not since the Fifth Element have I seen a sci-fi movie so colourful and different to the norm. I think it's safe to say if you enjoyed Luc Besson's earlier work you will probably enjoy this. If not perhaps look elsewhere. The only part of this movie that leaves anything to be desired is the acting of the stars, however I wouldn't say it's terrible, it's just not anywhere approaching Oscar worthy. Overall I for one loved this film.
