Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

The acting was okay but the creepy factor got shivers up my spine. I found myself wishing I could reach through the screen and choke the psycho till she turned blue.This is a good example of an uptight, self indulgent person who drives people away, then hates on them because they left. The video did a good job of showing how someone could use social media to raise havoc with your life.I suggest you take this as a warning, if you find yourself in a situation like this you have to get away from ALL of it. Obsessive people never stop, that's why they are called obsessive. They have a mental energy level the average person cannot match.

First of all, everyone goes gaga for all these predictable movies now and days, so lets appreciate this for what it is. Amazing!!!!!!!!!For the genre it is, its well written with no gaps, gives a REAL fighting woman a chance( nothing but thanks to Rosario), hit people right in their feelings, AND gave us a sequel opening? Crazy Dead Ex Wife Mother In Law movie? yes please. If there are 7+ movies about really fast driving car races that end up getting people killed, then yeah this movie is so "cheesy".

Julia Banks (Rosario Dawson) is interrogated by the police after his violent ex Michael Vargas is found killed in her home. The cops accuse her of luring him to his death. The movie flashes back six months. Julia's restraining order against Michael has expired. She is scaling back her professional life to move in with David Connover (Geoff Stults) and his daughter Lily. His ex-wife Tessa (Katherine Heigl) is not so happy especially after finding his plan to marry Julia.By revealing essentially the entire movie from the start, there is nothing surprising or compelling for the most part. I end up waiting for the inevitable all the way thru the movie. Heigl works as a villain. This is a melodrama with no drama. Julia has Tessa's records hacked and discovers some incriminating info. It seems like something to share with the cops. At least, she should be asking for a lawyer. The last act has numerous little flaws although I stopped caring well before that.
