Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

This whole movie felt like a weird anime filler. There was no emotional weight that added on from the book. No justice to Dr. Seuss. It wasn't even trying to be a corporate movie, that's the funny part. It tried to actually be good, when it wasn't. The message was simple that you could learn off of one sentence. Not something to make a first impression on a kid's first movie.

Story-A boy who lives in a town with no trees need to find 'onceler' because he is the only one who knows what happened to all the trees."The Lorax" started nicely but by the time movie was finished,I realized that there was something missing from this movie. In my opinion, that thing is nice story.Although movie gives a lovely message that we should plant more trees and should not ignore their importance but to make a really good movie you should also have a great story.Animation was very good and there were some funny characters too in the movie.Movie has some nice moments but overall it doesn't have anything special. But movie is not too bad and you can surely watch it one time.Overall I give it 6/10

When I saw the movie the score of 6.5, I am very, very angry, when the medias and the audiences say they don't like this movie, I think it is unfair for the film, because no one care about whether it is a musical film. I like the film, the reason is not music. First of all, the film expands the original world, when the pollution is human gone? Humans have already been lost? This is a question but no one pay attention to. Second, the movie balance relationship of the fairy tale and original,It looks more like a fairy tale, rather than a reality. It is a musical film, yes, it is. Requirements for a musical movies should not be demanding.I hate to give the film bad evaluation of the audience,You make me angry, this is obviously unfair for this movie.

I'll make this review quick and honest: I did NOT enjoy it. Typically I am thrilled to sit through animated movies and feel nostalgic but this was just terrible. The first half-hour was a bit entertaining but then it just turned to be very boring, cheesy, sing-song kind of thing that leaves you anticipating the ending. I had high expectations considering that I actually enjoyed Horton Hears a Who! (2008)but this was not the same. One thing that really annoyed me the ENTIRE time was that the message of the movie was way to in-your-face. I think a good movie should integrate the meaning to make the audience really think for themselves. Corny jokes and humor, slow action that makes you groan, but the animation was pretty nice. Definitely not going for seconds, however.
