Life-Size is a TV movie that was originally shown on ABC.It stars Lindsay Lohan and Tyra Banks. This made-for-TV film directed by Mark Rosman tells the story of a comedic fantasy when a young girl managed to transform her doll into a life-sized woman while attempting to bring her mother back to life.A girl unwittingly gives new meaning to the phrase "living doll" in this comic fantasy. After the death of her mother, 14-year-old Casey is despondent. As she and her father Ben begin to drift apart, Casey finds a book of magic spells and tries to use one to bring her mother back to life. But the plan backfires, and instead she finds that she's animated Eve, a fashion-plate dress-up doll. Eve is excited to be both alive but she has a lot to learn about living in the real world. We are not sure if Casey has the desire nor the patience to teach her. While this movie has been done before in Mannequin, little children who are below eight years old will probably find ways to enjoy it.Also,it was a family picture that young girls would probably find ways to enjoy.

The idea of a little girl wanting to bring her mother back to life made me thought the plot and movie was going to be kind of cheesy. I was wrong. It was sad because of Casey's mother, but it made a great story of friendship. The first time I ever even heard of the movie (and saw it) was on Disney Channel. I wish it could be sold so other people can see it even if they weren't Disney Channel fans. I also did not recognize Tyra Banksat at first. She has been the host of reality shows(such as American's Next Top Model) made her own show, (the Tyra Show) made a music video, (shake your body) and now acting? Talk about talent.

i only really watched this film because i was on holiday in boring Yorkshire with nothing to do what so ever. also it had Lindsay Lohan in, one of my top favourite actresses so i thought what the hell. i was pleasantly surprised though as i really enjoyed the film. at first i thought OK a doll comes to life how gay. in fact it was really cool and Lindsay played a totally lovable character. the actress that played the doll was really good too and her and Lindsay worked well together to produce an excellent film. i didn't really like the end though as i thought it would have been much better if she hadn't gone back to Sunnyvale but had stayed and married Casey's dad. that would have been much cuter. i'd recommend anyone to watch this film, i think the family would enjoy it- well maybe not the dads!

It's like the Olsen twins or Sabrina movies, it's not gonna change the world in a dramatic way - but it has the Disney 'feel good while crying' trademark. Liked the fact the lill' girl was having none of the 'Barbie' images we're taken with, and was doing her own thing. She was intelligent, stroppy and plays footie. While Eve is.. well, a doll. Beautiful. Perfect (nearly!) and learning that real life doesn't come wrapped in pretty pink ribbon. My fave scene was the dancing one, that really was extraordinary in that it was one of the first hints at interracial flirting between the main characters. The song at the end of it was a bit cheesy, and odd moments of cringing with the angst-ridden, overwrought emotions, but all in all, very nice indeed.
