A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

Much better than the second film. Here the feelings from the first movie comes back because it follows up with the first movie. This should have been the second film instead. You get to know about Doc more that you didn't know in the firs movie. Howewer it is a bit similar to the first movie when they are doing the races. But otherwise it is a great movie and a worthy sequel to the first one.

This film is a nice ending to the franchise and also introduces a few new characters! Lightning McQueen now takes the role of Doc Hundson by deciding to mentor a new racer Cruz, however he does not realise he has taken this role until his final race! The film begins with a montage showing Lightning racing, eventually leading to him losing to "New gen" racers. This in turn leads to him seeking further training which is where he meets his "so called" mentor Cruz. Cruz is later revealed to want to be a racer herself which is when McQueen decides to let her take his place.Although I don't like this franchise as much as some other Pixar movies, I do thoroughly enjoy it and do not understand the hate towards the movies! I expecially love how this film ends with McQueen taking the role of his idol by guiding a new racer into the future. I highly reccomend this movie, and you will understand it without seeing the others since it explains things pretty well!

Lightning McQueen is humiliated when he crashes in a race won by arrogant - and very fast - upstart Jackson Storm. After moping about for a while, McQueen decides he is not ready for retirement. He finds a news sponsor, but has a rocky relationship with Cruz Ramirez, the trainer provided for him: her ideas about training are very different to his, and he can't help thinking back to his mentor Doc Hudson. And it is a fact that he is getting older and slower.Cars is probably my least favourite Pixar franchise. The first one was OK+ and the second one was merely OK. So here we are with the 3rd entry in a franchise which has never thrilled me, and which has gone slightly downhill in the two preceding entries - and it's really, really good. There were three reasons why I liked this so much. One was the technical side of the CGI - the background design, the lighting, dust and water animation etc. were all superb. The second thing I liked was Paul Newman's voice cameo, nearly 9 years after his death, with dialogue heard here for the first time. And the third thing which I liked - loved, actually - was the way the story stopped being silliness about an old car which couldn't go fast enough, and started to be about self-image and self-worth, heritage, and sacrifice for the benefit of others. And the final race has you seriously on the edge of your seat, not just because of suspense over the result, but because of the emotional stakes. If the Cars franchise finishes with this film, it would be a very fitting film to go out on.

I love lightning Mcqueen and he is like one of the heroes in my childhood. But Car 3 is all about this hero "fading" and he even accepted it in the end. Doc's "death" remains mystery in Car 2 and Car 3, and this is unbelievable since cars older than him remain healthy. And i absolutely hate the "new painting" for lightning Mcqueen. Boys we are talking about the "the end" of that fabulous red color, which Disney are still printing for thousands of merchandises. This is like the Tangled, without the long hair, Rapunzel is just a normal girl. I started the movie hoping to see THE Lightning Mcqueen, not a second Doc. disappointment is not enough to express my anger. Congratulations Disney, you have ruined another series.
