I watched this movie after watching the first one with my little cousin I would say this movie is actually quite nice because this movie will explain what happen next Butttt the songs is very very bad and I know in the real story Pocahontas ends up with John Rolfe and bc of that this movie makes John Smith really weird not like the first movie that introduces John Smith as a very nice and selfless person

This was just HORRIBLE! I loved Pocahontas 1, it was so magical and interesting: the music was delightful, the animation had a high quality and the voice-over was done so well... But this one was the complete opposite, nothing made sense in it. I think, Disney made Pocahontas 2 just to maintain their classic happy ending which I wish didn't exist this time. The worst thing is that this mad me dislike Pocahontas 1 too, which I used to absolutely adore. Pocahontas 2 is nothing like the 1st one, it will just "break your heart". You won't lose anything by not watching this, please, don't do so. Better go watch "Cloud Atlas", an awesome movie.

I know everyone bashed this movie because we all know the sequel is never as good as the original right? While Pocahontas 2 did somewhat live up to my expectations in the beginning, I was totally let down by the ending. Pocahontas travels to London in order to meet the king and settle issues between their people but he agrees to meet her only if she attends a ball to prove she is civilized. Some parts must admit were humorous and what I expected and hope. When she comes to England, her fascination and reaction is just what I expected. The songs weren't bad, really. They were witty but of course not as good as the first. I wouldn't totally bash the songs, they were alright. All in all, the story line wasn't bad. However, and ****SPOILER ALERT FROM HERE ON*** They did make Pocahontas fall in love with another man and I was just totally bummed and disappointed at that. She was in love with John Smith first then she's in love with another man now?! I saw the white dress in the picture and thought she would marry John Smith. Anyways that just totally ruined it for me - like i want to erase it all. Besides that, although a crucial thing for me,if i were to judge solely up until the ending, I actually sort of liked the movie. Oh, and one more thing...RATCLIFFE. What was that?! The king believes only him and where are all the crew member from the last movie to vouch for John Smith and prove Ratcliffe's innocence. That was a P.O. to be honest. OK i'm done.

I adore Pocahontas , and this movie just ruined my love for her. I'm those type of girls that like it when a Disney character likes one guy, and doesn't go off for another guy just because the other guy couldn't exactly contact her or whatever it may be. And what's with the John's. I think one is enough. What did John Smith ever do to deserve her leaving him? And what had that other John done to deserve her love, NOTHING!!!! John Smith practically put down his life to do what was right and this other John did nothing but get her out of a prison where she wouldn't have been if it weren't for him in the first place. I swear if they make a third movie, I'm going to cry
