Thelma & Louise (1991)

I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much

Just what I expected

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

This is a great road movie starring Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon which did more for feminism subtly than what real feminsist haven't been able to achieve somehow. Directed by Ridley Scott- once again proving his mettle in any genre- Thelma And Louise is a journey by two best friends and starring cameos the most famous of them being Brad Pitt. A film which is a riot as well as lots of fun.

An excellent watch even two decades later. The score is awesome. The visuals are fantastic. Every scene is worthwhile. Guess those were the heydays of Hollywood when they invested in actual characters and a story with substance. I'm not even American or into country music in general, but still love this movie and its soundtrack. As a side-note, the "Darryl" scenes were so fun! "Let's keep going."

You know, Hollywood can be pretty casual about suicide. This is an irreversible decision to a short term problem. When the two women go over the cliff in a blaze of glory, they are about to be dead. They are giving up the most precious gift they have, their own lives, because they are about to be apprehended. I have trouble with the sheer stupidity of these two characters who apparently many viewers see has heroic. Obviously, the inciting incident, the attempted rape by the guy they shoot, was totally wrong. It's also a reality that in some hole in the wall bar, getting friendly with a stranger and drinking too much could get you into a horrible situation. It's not right; it just is! So now they're off and what's next? They meet the smooth talking Brad Pitt character. He already admits he's a small time crook, so they leave a bunch of money around for him to take. Then, after robbing a gas station, they get into it with some stupid truck driver. Of course, the portrayal is that every male they come into contact sees them and pulls down his pants. I know! It's just a movie. This leads them to their final act. Without contemplating the possibility that they could probably survive this...off the cliff they go with smiles on their faces. If they had been real people, it would have meant there were two less idiots left in the world.

Nice pictures, stupid story. How unbelievably stupid the male characters are. And the stupid decisions the two women take, are just boring. All to begin with, the a act of violence which is the foundation of the entire movie. Read the other negative references.Just don't watch it (unless you are a miserable 50 year old female who never had any happy moments in life, particularly not with the other sex).why did she shoot that guy in the first place - why don't they split the money - why are all guys idiotswhy woman of the women who is portrait as mostly nervous in hectic situations suddenly able to pull of an amazing criminal action
