A lazy, good for nothing prince (Thadeous) is forced by his father, the king, to join his brave and noble brother (Fabious) in his quest of saving his true love from the evil wizard Leezar, before the two moons come together. They are faced with numerous difficulties along the way including the betrayal of their loyal warriors. After a brave female warrior joins their group, Thadeous falls in love but the only way to convince her is to is to change his attitude once and for all.We follow throughout the story the evolution of Thadeous, from a useless idiot to a hero that will save his friends as they get into serious trouble. The movie is like a parody of an epic fantasy movie. Almost all of its sequences are full of humor, jokes and funny acting. That is precisely what makes it special. The plot is not something that will impress you in any way but it's good. It keeps you thrilled, entertained all the time and eager to find out the next funny move of the characters. It was interesting and funny. I like the idea of this movie but it could have been better (especially on the funny side). A good movie overall!

You know I really don't get critics sometimes. They all pretty much crapped all over this movie and I'm not sure why. I mean, yes, it's a stupid stoner comedy set in Medieval Times. What were they expecting? King Arthur? Robin Hood? Game of Thrones? I mean really? The trailer pretty much told you exactly what to expect. And if you're familiar with Danny's Kenny Powers from Eastbound and Down, NOTHING you saw in this film should've surprised you. As far as I'm concerned, this was entertaining and it delivered exactly what was expected: dumb laughs. So it's simple. Turn off your brain. Don't expect Robin Hood. Don't take any of it seriously. And you will be entertained and laugh hysterically. I found this much more enjoyable than A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas (which for some reason got great reviews, it's the exact same dumb humour!). Danny McBride and James Franco are hilarious and they make this a fun experience. Is this a good movie? No. Will it make any "Best of the Year" lists? No. Will you laugh your ass off at the sheer stupidity and ridiculousness of it? Hell's yes. Sometimes you need a dumb laugh and Your Highness is absolutely the ticket. Enjoy!Enjoyed my review? I don't mind silly, parities for other movies or similar movie plots, but this was the most stupid, vulgar, and distasteful movie I have ever seen. There was nothing funny about it, just plain bad taste.I know there are men who said they liked it, but I don't know any men or women that would find this movie at all to their liking... except immature post adolescents to still snicker at jokes about sex, private parts, masturbation, or using the "f" word every other word even if it makes sense or not. Topics such as rape, beastiality and betrayal of friends and family is no joking matter and I find absolutely NO HUMOR in them at all.
