Bedtime Stories is a kids movie. What's wrong is a lot of people hated this movie. Why? Maybe because Adam Sandler is in it. Personally I don't hate Adam Sandler because there's really no reason to hate him.Anyway about the movie, it is quite entertaining and funny. Not bad actually. The way things happen in this movie will surely make you laugh. For me at least it's not bad because the way I see movie is different from other people. Maybe a movie is good depending how the audience sees it.In conclusion, Bedtime Stories is entertaining. Not great not also bad. A good movie for the family to watch.

"Bedtime stories" is not your typical Adam Sandler movie, as it is more aimed at children. Plot In A Paragraph: Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler) is the handyman of a posh hotel. He is looked down upon by the general manager, the arrogant Kendall (Guy Pearce) who is engaged to the shallow Violet (Teresa Palmer) who is the daughter of the Hotels owner Barry Notingham (Richard Griffiths) When Skeeters sister Wendy (Courtney Cox) needs to travel to Arizona for a job interview. Wendy asks her friend Jill to watch her son Patrick and her daughter Bobbi during the day and Skeeter to watch them during the night. Skeeter makes up bedtime stories to help them to sleep but soon Skeeter realises that the plot of the stories are coming true and affecting his life. Adam Sandler is his usual self, as was Courtney Cox in her smaller role. Keri Russell is lovely as Jill, the two child actors who played Patrick and Bobbi were both fine and managed to stay clear of all the child actor cliché's, and Guy Pearce was suitably slimy and annoying. However for me Russell Brand was the stand out as Mickey, Skeeters best friend and co worker.

Adam Shankman's Bedtime Stories is very unlike Adam Sandler's usual goofy acting method in his comedies. But the only reason that he actually gave a good performance in this movie is that he did not work with Dennis Dugan who directed him in terrible movies like Grown Ups (2010), and Jack and Jill (2011). The movie begins with Marty Bronson (played by Jonathan Pryce) builds the Sunny Vista Motel with the help of his son Skeeter and his daughter Wendy and intends on raising them in the motel, when Skeeter's dad isn't making very good profits and Marty's motel ends up going bankrupt and sells the motel to Barry Nottingham (played by Richard Griffiths) who is going to hire Skeeter (played by Adam Sandler) a job there as a general manager. Not only this is a terrific family movie the acting is to me very well done because the chemistry between him and Wendy (played by Courtney Cox) is not very good when they are both grownups, But the chemistry between him and Jill (played by Keri Russell is actually hilarious. I would consider this movie as on e of the best movies of 2008 because not only that Sandler gives the best performance of his career, but that the movie gives an actual Disney story like never seen before. But some people may not like this movie when they say it is sad when it actually really good, as well as a great supporting cast besides Cox, Russell, and Griffiths, as well as Guy Pearce, Russell Brand etc.A definite A+

Marty Bronson hoped the Sunny Vista Motel would be their home with his son Skeeter (Adam Sandler) and his daughter Wendy (Courteney Cox). But he's not a good businessman, and he's forced to sell to Barry Nottingham (Richard Griffiths) promising to let Skeeter run it when the time comes. Barry has built an impressive hotel, but no longer remembers the promise. Skeeter is only the handyman, and the new manager is Kendall (Guy Pearce) who's engaged to Barry's daughter Violet (Teresa Palmer). Meanwhile Wendy has to leave town and ask Jill (Keri Russell) to watch her kids during the day and Skeeter during the night. He makes up bedtime stories for the kids that somehow comes true.First of all, Skeeter is annoying and doesn't deserves the management hotel job. He's the handyman and he's lucky to have that job. He NEEDS to be a capable man so that his oversight is seen as an injustice. Being nice to the guests is just a bare minimum. All the whining really wears badly. Keri Russell is sweet which balances out Adam Sandler. This family movie is barely that. I guess that why they have the bug-eyed Bugsy, but that guinea pig is just weird.
