Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort (2014)
A sudden and mysterious inheritance brings Danny and his friends to Hobb Springs, a forgotten resort deep in the West Virginia hills. Hobb Springs is being looked after under the watchful care of Jackson and Sally, a socially awkward couple who introduce Danny to the long lost family he's never known. A clan by the name of Hillicker. But soon Danny learns his relatives have a different way of living, that for generations, the Hillickers have observed ancient traditions rooted in cannibalism and other taboo rituals.

Truly Dreadful Film
It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.
Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
Wrong Turn 6: Yet another tale of horrendous hillbillies in the Appalachians. Guy inherits a resort/hotel in West Virginia and travels to it with a posse of friends. Dark deeds are taking place there, we see a member of a visiting group felled by a flying hatchet, already we've observed a pair cycling through the forest cut down with arrows. These aren't your average hillbillies though, more inbred than most they look as frightening as anything you would find in South West Kerry (Healy Raes) or rural Norfolk, oh, they're cannibals as well.The hotel is run by a weird young couple who we soon discover are in league with the inbred cannibals. They have a plan for the inheritor which involves him staying and literally injecting new blood for the area. The other visitors can stay for dinner or rather be dinner. Good Hillbilly Horror. 7/10. On Horror Channel.

Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort is just as stupid, disgusting and horrendous as the last few sequels have been since the original plus the dumb cannibals are being controlled by a dumb teenager so that's smart and we've never seen that before right? This movies get worse and worse with each sequel and if a 7th one gets made? It will do the same.
Absolute crap is all I can say about this film. I loved the other wrong turn films but this one is by far the worst.Bad acting, bad storyline and even the DVD extras were rubbish.Avoid this film!
I just watched the movie. I thought it was professionally made. The director did solid work. The cameramen did good. The picture quality was good. The sound was good. The acting was fine, with the exception of one actor (the one that got his foot caught in a trap).The gore was good as usual, but I wish each character had perished in interesting ways instead of instantly dying from a struck to the head. Some of the deaths were creative, but all of them needed to be to keep the gore fresh and entertaining.The story was solid and had interesting twists. The ending was good and satisfying.I definitely have lost faith in reviewers after seeing the bad reviews for this movie.This movie was very watchable and entertaining. I am still a fan of the franchise and I will watch the 7th movie whenever it comes out.
