To me, this movie is perfection.

I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

The events leading up to an 11:14 PM car crash, from five very different perspectives. 11:14 is a hilarious bad movie i'm 100% serious this film has the funniest sex scene i have ever seen, a couple is having sex in a cemetery and that dude started shaking a statue and the head cut off and crashed him or even that scene when Ben Foster's d*ck stuck into the door of the van and cut off and one of his friends went back to get it, the acting isn't bad and actors such as Patrick Swayze, Hilary Swank, Henry Thomas, Clark Gregg and Ben Foster are talented people it's just that the film is hilarious bad and the characters are just boring and dumb. I give 11: 14 a 2 out of 10 it definitely doesn't deserve a 7.2 sorry but no sorry!!

The movie is entertaining. It is funny at times, but not very much and not many times. But, that's not its main purpose. The main purpose is to show a way that many lives that are loosely connected can "crash" into each other under specific circumstances. It's not very likely to happen (some of it much less likely than the rest), of course, but it's not impossible. The story flows nicely, even though the main point is to tell the same story five times, which could have ended up feeling very repetitive. There are no significant plot holes, actors are doing their job good enough, as is the director and pretty much everyone else involved, and having enough funny parts spread out through the movie, all that combined makes watching this an entertaining experience. But, there's nothing really special here. There's not much quality in the story, except entertainment. Actually some elements of the story, while entertaining in this particular context, are pretty low quality, like what a (open car) window is supposed to be able to do to a boy (who sticks his body parts through it) and what are the consequences to said boy. The acting is nothing special, neither is directing in some way interesting or inspired. It's one of those movies to watch, enjoy and move on. Which is quite alright.

I had fun watching this, it was good, not great but interesting, funny (in a darkly wicked way) and filled with great performances from an ensemble cast. Its along the lines of 'Crash' but in a more comedic way. These are all bad people or at least pretty dumb people making bad choices and dealing with the consequences. There are 5 separate stories being told here and I liked how all of them slowly converged, I thought it was clever storytelling, so that by the end a complete story has been told, even if it all did seem sort of pointless.Ensemble casts are always fun as you never know who's going to pop up especially if its an older movie (this is from 2003) then you usually catch some up and comers. The performances here are all well done and I loved seeing Patrick Swayze again in a different type of role, but the whole cast does a great job. Hillary Swank stands out as a defeated store clerk, also including Barbara Hershey, Ben Foster, Henry Thomas, Jason Segel, Colin Hanks, Shawn Hatosy, and a shout out to the dog.The movie takes place in a small, sleepy, US town at around 11pm and follows the lives of several seemingly unrelated people as they intersect because of a car accident. The story then backtracks or has two stories running parallel as they all join together. Events are fast paced, a bit random, spontaneous, idiotic and pretty funny. The soundtrack is also on the random side of things as it occasionally sounds like a B-grade horror movie. 7/14/15

After I watched this adventure for the first time, I read through a batch of IMDb reviews, and was amazed at the variation of opinions on this movie, which in itself is not a bad thing; few films can please everyone. I call this film an "adventure" because it moves, every second, every minute, and if you give yourself to it, you're along for a major cinematic rush, a ride that starts when a drunken driver hits a body and the driver attempts to hide the evidence...the high rating is given simply because I was involved in the film from the initial moments, and stayed that way because of the outstanding ensemble work, the dedication to dazzle the viewer with plot twist after plot twist, weaving threads that will somehow come together.I know this isn't Citizen Kane or Tokyo Story or Lawrence of Arabia--it's not important in any way, except as a thriller, and I was thrilled with a movie without attitude, without silly violence (eyeballs popping for the fun of it, that sort of thing), without an agenda. It's mirrors the way our lives can sometime be--things happen coincidentally and without any stated purpose, but with a strange logic. I went out and bought a used copy right after I saw it and have enjoyed foisting it off on friends.
