Escape from Planet Earth (2013)

Wonderful character development!

Really Surprised!

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

Scorch Supernova is a heroic brash risk-loving alien spaceman. His little brother Gary Supernova is mission control except nobody respects him. He believes that he's the brains and Scorch is the muscles. Worst of all, his son Kip is in awe of Scorch. The next mission is the Dark Planet. 106 advanced lifeforms have tried to make first contact there. None have returned. That planet is Earth. Scorch and Kip have a fight and Kip quits. (or Scorch fired him.) Scorch goes alone and is taken prisoner in Area 51. Gary flies the rescue pod to save Scorch and is captured also.It's bright and it's wild. It's probably good enough for the little kids. Anybody else would find this tiresome. The cast of great comedians are wasted. I actually like the first half of this movie up to the brain freeze incident. It has set up a nice sibling rivalry. Then they are imprisoned in Area 51. The aliens are overly naive. The movie becomes rather boring. It loses any charm or comedy. The situation back on the alien planet becomes disconnected. The movie is better off with Kip and his mom Kira going to Earth as well. That way, the wife and son could rescue the two arguing brothers.

This movie was very bad and boring it is a waste of time of your life if you go and see it actually. I fell asleep when I went to go and see it in the movie theater. As a matter of fact me and my Dad both did it was that terribly bad and horrible there is not even like a plot to the story it sucked so bad. I would question anyone who would go to see it on DVD. Again there is no sense at all to the movie like it is so predictable with in the first three minutes of the movie and like and could be on a infant channel on TV and the babies probably would not even like it! So here I say it again do not waste your time by going to see this stupid boring movie!

Good story, if a little bit uninspired. Some good moral points and impressive twists. As far as animations go, quality is right up there and an interesting ideas on how extra terrestrials could look. great variety in shape and sizes as well as a believable planet network. enjoyable graphics and great voice acting with a few celebs Took me forever to figure out who one of the characters were! but got there in the end. Nothing extra ordinary about it, some good takes on human way of life for the adults to chuckle at. All in all an enjoyable movie, and while its not up with the best animations i've ever seen i certainly enjoyed it and will recommend it to any kid/kid at heart who likes scifi!

The start of the movie is just another plot of typical alien films, but as you move on you see a difference. The heroes are aliens (for us!) and the humans are villains. I loved the concept but the film couldn't keep its zeal; the action was vague and too immature. It seems like the film makers wanted to target the youngest age group, but even though should have put the better part of their thinking into it. Films like toy story and ice age enjoy similar themes, but there is something in which they differ from Escape From Planet Earth- Quality of action!To summarize I would insist you better try other films of this kind, like monsters vs aliens
