Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

This film is either a love or hate it film and fortunately I love it! I have watched it quite a few times but have not gotten bored of it. You will either find the film hilarious or absolute trash and that's okay everyone is entitled to their own opinion! If you prefer films that are well structured and follow a well thought out plot then this film is probably not for you but if you prefer to watch a film and not take it too seriously and appreciate a bit of silly humour then you should definitely watch! I know this film can be a bit cringey and sometimes downright stupid but I also find it simply hilarious!

Big Momma is back but this time on the hunt for international terrorists. Martin Lawrence has been excellent in films such as Blue Streak and the original outing for Big Momma. For some reason this film has achieved a low score on the IMDb user ratings. This film deserves much more credit than it has received. Reasons why this is an excellent movie Firstly its Big Momma's House. Secondly, it stars Martin Lawrence. Thirdly, its incredibly entertaining. This film is as good as the the original. Many might slate Big Momma's House for being childish or for not liking Martin Lawrence but to be quite honest what I want in a film is to be entertained. Also, few movies can be watched several times without them getting boring and this movie falls into that category. Martin Lawrence is brilliant as Big Momma. This is a fun movie that the whole family can see. It would be nice for another Big Momma's House movie to be made

I was afraid that this movie would be so silly it would be bad, but it really wasn't. It was OK. It had some funny moments. Like Big Momma on the beach in a swim suit, That was good. Martin Lawerence's makeup is amazing in this. While the female voice is too fake sounding to pass as real, the fat suit could pass for real. Now, I would think if you touched the suit, it wouldn't feel like real skin, so I don't know how he could have pulled off the massage at the spa. Some glaring plot holes were how could Malcom risk cleaning the family's house at night out of his Big Momma disguise. And one minute Malcom would go somewhere else without his disguise then magically appear at another place as Big Momma. It never showed him lugging around the Momma disguise. But one positive was Martin Lawerence didn't play the part as really over the top, so wasn't annoying. A big plus.FINAL VERDICT: If you are looking for a comedy, it would be worth watching.

Federal agent and master of disguises Malcolm Turner is up to his old tricks yet again in this sequel. No longer a field agent, he now devotes his time and energy into his family, but soon an investigation begins of a seemingly ordinary suburban family whose patriarch may be involved in a high-tech crime scheme. Dissatisfied with the approach and results of the current investigation, Turner once again goes undercover as big momma and becomes the family nanny so he can try and crack the case himself. The first film was likable and amusing but clearly protracted, which doesn't create high expectations for this sequel which has a cheap plot and very few genuine laughs. Pointless, but fans of star Lawrence probably won't complain. *½
