This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

Friday the 13th Part III: 3D is surprisingly a really good movie it is the campiest one, but is not a bad slasher, it is a great movie like I thought it was. It is one of my personal favorite horror movies. Richard Brooker R.I.P. is great as Jason Voorhees and he does his iconic hockey mask for the first time. It is in my Number 5 favorite films I love this film to death it has grove on me. 3D thing was a bad idea but is a classic sequel to me I have enjoy It. I become fan of this film. I love Chris Higgins (Dana Kimmell) to death and I love all the characters in this movie. The scene with Debbie (Tracie Savage) and Chris (Dana Kimmel) is memorable in the movie and a classic to me to see how they filmed in the 80's. That's is why I love this film so much and it is in my top 5 best "Friday the 13th films."This movie has one of the best kills. I love Chris Higgins (Dana Kimmell) to death and I love all the characters in this movie. The final showdown between the heroine--one Chris (Dana Kimmell) of the cutest and most likeable in the whole series--is oustanding. I love this film to death and I really miss movies like this. This film is my fifth favorite film and those 5 Friday the 13th films are top 5 best films I love to death and I will still watch them on Blu-ray discs. This movie is the most scariest of all of them. The first time I watch it as a kid I was scared to death of the film. The 3D effect was really a bad thing but the plot and the story was really good and I like the cast. This was the second sequel that it was directed by Steve Miner. I have fun with it and I have enjoy it I love this movie to death and it come closer to my heart. It is in fifth favorite Friday the 13th film sadly I have enjoyed the original more than this film that is why I put it in the fifth rank. Dana Kimmell as Chris Higgins the final girl and the heroine was a bad-ass and really beautiful and the cutest girl. The movie has also a biker gang in here in which Jason kills them one by one. Nick Savage was good as the leader Ali he was knocked by Jason, but on the end of the film he saved Chris from Jason, in which Jason cuts his hand. I love the boat scene on the end in which Pamela Voorhees attacks Chris and run her over the boat on the lake, that scene was fantastic. Yes it was similar scene from the first movie in which young Jason jumps over and run over Alice on the lake this is just the opposite of the film I loved that.I love also the actors beside Danna Kimmell and Richard Brooker in here that did really a well done job as the supporting cast: Catherine Parks, Larry Zerner they were great couple. Gloria Charles, Paul Kratka, Cheri Maugans, Rachel Howard, Kevin O'Brien and Nick Savage I love this cast in here. I love the atmosphere in this movie it is more windy and no it is not set in the summer it is set in autumn it feels more autumn time. Dana Kimmell is a tough sexy girl and she doesn't get scared of Jason she kicked his ass twice and I have enjoyed this movie I love it. The music score and 3D effect were a little cheese in my opinion but the movie surprisingly I loved it and it is a classic movie to me! Allan A. Apone did a great special make effects for Jason and I like some of the kills and the eyed balls also this movie does not have so much sex scenes .R.I.P. Richard Brooker, Gloria Charles, Steve Susskind, Perla Walter and David Wiley you are all missed. Score: 10/10 get's my score Bad-Ass Seal Of Approval it is my fifth favorite film in the franchise I love it to death. To me is a classic sequel I love the 80's horror movies and this one is really a suspenseful good movie.

Following on from part 2 Jason is still alive & embarks on killing a fresh bunch of campers, plus a trio of bikers. Here we get to see a lot of his hideous face (he's now lost his long hair from part 2 and is now completely bold), plus he gains the iconic hockey mask courtesy of one of his victims, the obligatory joker. There is some humour added to the story here but overall it's still pretty dark. The gore level has been upped again with some of the best kills of the series, all in glorious 3D. This effect is employed effectively throughout the film & helps make it one of the best Fridays. Probably my second personal Friday after the first movie.

This films starts off with the climax of the second film, where Jason Voorhees apparently didn't die, but lives again to kill more campers at Camp Crystal Lake. This entry seems to be more competently made than prior entries, but overall the film is still pretty uninteresting and nothing but an excuse for Jason to kill a bunch of co-eds, this time in 3-D, so there are lots of straight-at-the-camera stabbings, impaling, popcorn popping, and balls being juggled that all looks pretty stupid when you watch it in 2-D. There are some attempts at suspense and scares that work better than the prior two films, but that's a pretty low bar. However, I did enjoy the fair amount of 80s nostalgia in the film, from vans with luxurious interior carpets, to Velcro wallets, to the fashions and hairdos. This film also seemed to be when the series started proper, with this film being the first one where Jason wears the hockey mask (Jason wasn't the killer of the first film and he wore a gunny sack in the second film). Still, if you want 80s slasher films, even though this series solidified the formula, there were quite a few knockoffs that did it much better, like "Halloween," "Torso," or even something like "Sleepaway Camp."

This movie is the third sequel to "Friday the 13th", proving that if Jason is tough to kill, the franchise is certainly harder to die. The recipe is like the films that preceded it: in a haunted camp lives a hard-to-kill monster who loves to exterminate stupid teenagers, improving human genetics by preventing such deformed beings from breeding. I'm being ironic, but the truth is that the film is so bad that it allows me that, as well as being no different from the vast majority of slasher films.
