When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

'Sightseers' was nothing like I had expected and I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. The movie is genuinely hilarious in parts with some very British and very dark humour, perfect for those who loved classics like Shaun of the Dead. The two main characters, Tina and Chris, complement each other perfectly and there is a natural on-screen chemistry between the two. They are also relatable and strangely likable, despite what they get up to. The movie is well directed and the script is just brilliant, especially the ending. This is my sort of comedy movie and if you're anything like me, you'll love 'Sightseers'.

Probably not many peoples ides of a great film, but I think the film does exactly what it wants and gets the characters and personalities near perfect, capturing every little quirk. Personally knowing people that fit into these roles. (minus the extreme results)Right away I could relate to the people and feel like they could easily be people I know, although not particularly liking them (which I doubt you're supposed to) it makes the film much more believable, and also that much more shocking and darkly very funny.I think you'll get a lot more from this film being from the UK because of the characters and the scenes, it's not a film I can recommend to many sadly, but I personally got a lot of enjoyment and I think all of Ben Wheatley's films have been underrated so far, and have yet to be disappointed with one if his endings. Would also recommend kill list just for its ending, but isn't for the faint hearted

When you think of all the millions of dollars invested into epic Hollywood blockbusters, then they turn out to be complete turkeys, you'll be heartened to know that there are still brilliant films being made on a fraction of the budget. If Lord of the Rings was basically an advert for New Zealand's magnificent landscape, then Sightseers does the same job for the north of England. It's about your 'average' couple as they take their first holiday together, i.e. a romantic caravaning tour of the countryside. However, things soon start taking a turn for the worse and the dead bodies soon start piling up.I won't go into too much detail about the plot. Some films are better that you know as little as possible about them. All you really need to know about Sightseers is that it comprises of the blackest of comedy around. The humour and tone is very dark indeed. If you think you can laugh at some characters with real human frailties, as they come to terms with each other and how they see life, then you should enjoy this.It really is a true gem. Sadly Sightseers will never attain the dizzy heights of Hollywood's output, but it really deserves its place as a great British film.

I didn't like this film at all. It had no plot. No substance. No laughs. It was pointless. This wasn't a weird film, it was just plain silly and as immature as pulling the wings off a fly.I'd rather watch Percy Jackson again, than this pile of steaming cow-dung.If you want to see middle-of-nowhere, possibly in-bred, locals only, stereotyping then watch "The League of Gentleman" UK TV series.Being from the North West of England not that far from Yorkshire, I might be a just little bit biased. Though I can honestly say I will not ever consider recommending this film to anyone with half a brain, and a proper sense-of-humour.If you've read this far then thank you. I hope I have saved you some time and money by pleading with you to not see this dire film.
