Amazing scenery, well-made characters and lots of delicate humour that won't make you fall out of your chair, but will work overall. Such a cute movie with an unexpected protagonist, that you cannot even dislike a little bit! Nice idea, really special, with Paris as the perfect setting, as well as the era in which it evolves which is one of my favorites in such movies! This is a movie that you won't regret watching, it's a cartoon really fit for small children as well, despite all these horrible concepts that come out once in a while that can give nightmares even to grown ups. This is one of my favorite cartoons of 2015 - cause I actually discovered it a bit late!

I really loved and enjoyed the movie. Made by french animators with a modest budget, this movie rocked my world. the soundtrack is awesome., specially la seine. Francoeur makes your eyes wet. The Paris in 1910 is very well created. Not only kids enjoy this movie, but also as an adult you can enjoy it alongside your children. The emotional scenes are well developed. It is unfair to give only 1/10 to this title. Just because it isn't made of Hollywood does't mean it isn't cool. In addition, 85% of the mainstream Hollywood media is totally disappointing. Overall, if you want family fun and a great musical animation go for Un Monstre a Paris. I find it the fifth best animated movie after Monsters Inc, Up, How to train your dragon and Toy Story franchise.

Great animation isn't the reserve of Dreamworks and Pixar though sometimes you need to look a little harder to find it. In any event both studies are apt to forget that the animation should be built round a great storyline. I had no expectations of this movie as it hadn't been hyped but if the starting point was high expectations it would not have disappointed. A movie with great charm and warmth that kept the whole family entertained, even the soundtrack was a cut above; Vanessa Paradis reminding us that she's a great singer as well as an actress. Upbeat songs like 'La Seine and I' and 'Just a little kiss' add to the feel good nature of the movie.

It's 1910 Paris, a bungling delivery man and his friend create a monster accidentally from a flea, but the over-sized flea has talent for music which is as famous as his unjust monster reputation.Monster in Paris takes a lot of chances with the narrative and pacing that larger studios wouldn't attempt. The computer animation is excellently done, cute and stylistic. Vanessa Paradis is note worthy bringing Lucille to life wonderfully. It's darker parts are reminiscent of Tim Burton's outings, that said, it's fresh Parisian fun, with catchy songs, and a witty script to match. It's slightly off beat and doesn't dot all the i's and cross the t's story wise but this is what makes it so appealing.
