It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

A group of delinquents are sent to clean the Blackwell Hotel. Little do they know reclusive psychopath Jacob Goodnight has holed away in the rotting hotel. When one of the teens is captured, those who remain - a group that includes the cop who put a bullet in Goodnight's head four years ago - band together to survive against the brutal killer. When See No Evil first premiere it was on 2006 when WWE was at it's top forms and back then i freaking loved it but after i gave it a 2nd look it was pretty bad by the numbers horror film with really bland acting from the entire cast and not that scary of a movie in general and nothing that you haven't seen before in general. (4/10)

See No Evil (2006): Dir: Gregory Dark / Cast: Glenn Jacobs, Samantha Noble, Michael J. Pagan, Christina Vidal, Luke Pegler: Disgusting horror film about a killer who plucks the eyes out of his victims. It is also another failed attempt to bring a wrestler into feature films. If you thought that Hulk Hogan starred in stupid films then you're in for a real treat when Kane hunts down and murders petty criminals in a huge rundown hotel. Why the hotel is still standing is a question left unanswered but in reality it would be classified as a hazard, much like this film. And why are production values about as enticing as a cardboard box? Perhaps every dime went into training Kane how to act like...HIS WRESTLING PERSONA! Who would have thought, huh? Kane, whose real name is Glen Jacobs, is a menacing wrestling personality but that is about as far as it should go. Director Gregory Dark films everything as if he is half asleep. Kane beats the hell out of Samantha Noble, Michael J. Pagan, Christina Vidal, etc. They are not nearly as energetic as his wrestling opponents but one can say that wrestling puts on a more realistic show than the travesty given here. Why not just pay for a ninety minute battle royal where Kane just heaves the people responsible for this film over the top rope? There is no point to this wasted piece of junk other than to bring Kane to the screen and hopefully be seen by no one. Score: 1 / 10

A small minority of horror films have left me speechless. This is one of those. One word to describe it, is limited, and chiefly I'm talking about the low use of violence, like a car running low on fuel. When seeing the poster for this flick, our killer star, obviously involved in wrestling, I expected this film to much gorier. Surprisingly the film is made by a guy, who's made a lot of b sex pics, although responsible that well made porn docu, Fallen Angels. This film has a short sheeted feel. Suspense is low, as really waiting for something to happen, while the premise and back story is quite good. Starring a few ocker stars, including the sexy Rachel Taylor, in her earlier acting stage. She's part of a group of lock up juveniles who take an excursion to an abandoned hotel to clean it up, sort of like doing community service, where Taylor's rebellious character, who gives the film some sexy spark, has other things in mind. What's also been abandoned in this hotel is a caged bald headed psycho, nasty serial killer Jacob, who's thought to be dead, where one of the cops behind this case, will see to it, he succeeds this time. When the violence happens, it happens: be appreciative. The performances are good, especially from an older Tiffany Lamb (remember her) as the officer in charge of the girl juvies, while Vidler (of course, good) is in in charge of the juvie boys. Kane, whatever mainly has to grunt and yell, and KILL. The film, though not a bad one, just has a short sheeted feel about it. It could of been better, definitely much, where really we're left with is sadly a forgettable horror, (not as forgettable as it's lead) where it's a fifty fifty decision, if deciding to having a second viewing.

With any movie review must come disclaimers, no review is impartial. I'm a WWE fan and I enjoy 'naff' films, especially slashers.See No Evil is predictably unpredictable, at times. A gruesome murderer is introduced, a group of troubled youths enter an abandoned hotel... death is inevitable. The cast are okay, no stand out performances, some annoyance but generally very watchable. Good deaths and a few, "I didn't think they'd do that" moments alongside an attempt at a plot. 80 minutes is about right, Kane, limited in speech, is pretty believable and all in it was certainly worth a watch... Wait til the end of the initial credits for a simply bizarre scene.
