I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

So this movie starts off with a scene of Sylvester Stallone as James Bond Running away from some people who are wearing roller-skates and its not plot related so they just put it in there for some random reason. This movies contained some stupid scenes like kids holding what looked like Desert Eagle which if they fired would break their face (from the recoil). This movie wasn't all that bad contained some nice scenes and some fantasy for example : the way the car moved. The cops don't even chase the Taxi that's going 320km/h. The story itself in not all that bad which is the only reason you may want to considering to watch this movie. This movies should be Taxi 2 and no more sequels.

To like this movie, you gotta watch it in French. Otherwise you do not get all the humor in the movie and sometimes, the funny things said in Frech are not, usually, funny in English or other languages and this is true. I watch french movies in French during some of my French classes and when I re-watch them in Russian or English i don't like it, because the humor is not the same. It is like watching a funny tvshow in Russian and getting every joke, because you know the Russian culture. The same with the French movies. I loved the movie. It is a good movie. It is not a movie that you would be applauding standing on the premier, but it is worth watching. Most of the french movies are amazing, especially ones of Francis Veber and Luc Besson. I love every single movie of Luc Besson.

This is an example of witty French comedy at its best. The production crew are clearly really enjoying themselves now, and from opening titles worthy of 007's Maurice Binder to plot steals from Lethal Weapon 4, the film merges slapstick with biting French satire and drops in a spoonful of Feydeau farce for good measure. I am sorry it is not out with English subtitles yet because it means that only French-speakers can really enjoy it. If you do view it, there is one question you will have to ask yourselves - was Sylvester Stallone dubbed or is that really how he speaks French ? There may not be a Taxi 4 - but I'll be in the queue to buy the DVD if there is.

The TAXI series (this is obviously the third installment) are highly successful French movies which for mysterious reasons are never distributed in USA (or at least in Miami). Created and produced by the legendary and admired (ex-director) Luc Besson (you remember him from masterpieces like The Professional, La Femme Nikita, The Big Blue or The Fifth Element) he managed to create a mix of action and comedy, with some of ingenuous gags, some adults jokes and plenty of action (mostly car stunts) and very mild violence and overall VERY HUMAN.TAXI 3 tracks Emilien's (the police officer) obsession to catch a gang disguised as Santa Claus with the help of Daniel (the nuts taxi driver) both trying to overcome their conjugal issues and the pregnancy of their wives. The story is very simple (as is the movie short), so everything rest on the characters (some of them very funny and some not so) and on the impressive stunts which are really very good and a lot more realistic than the computer generated car chases of Bad Boys II.As I said before, it is really a pity this funny movies get no distribution here. Of course Hollywood can make things like this. Technically better probably but without the natural grace and believability of this very sympathetic group of actors.
