I thought this was a well acted, good paced movie, it held my interest with enough realism and story line, and anyone who is a Christian knows what this movie is trying to convey, and on the whole does a great job of entertaining as well. "I do believe" Jesus is the only way to God via His death on a cross, God proved His worthy sacrifice by raising Him from the dead so I know that when this life ends for me, I will be more alive than I have ever been...... do you believe?

Do You Believe from the same folks who gave us the God's Not Dead movies and both of those take their model from those secular films, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, and most of all Crash. It's Crash with a Christian twist to it. The center character is a street preacher who runs into minister Ted McGinley and asks a simple question, Do You Believe?Meaning are you really believing or just going through the motions? The actions of the various characters whose lives intersect at various points in the film. In the end nearly the entire cast is involved in a multiple vehicle crash on a city bridge. That climax is gripping and well staged. In this cast the two performances that stand out are Madison Pettis as the homeless and pregnant teen taken in by Ted McGinley and Shwayze as a young gangbanger who takes to heart the words of Delroy Lindo.I'm in agreement with the reviewer who said that the characters are a bit too goody goody. That even the bad ones for the most part aren't really that bad. Makes it a bit hard to swallow the plot premises.Still for a Christian film it's not bad entertainment.

Very well done.! Excellent job in developing characters and weaving the plot. This is real life. It is the way life can be. It was very enjoyable as well. I felt the genuineness or authentic nature of each of the characters and situations were woven into an intricate storyline. I would recommend this movie to everyone. Sean Astin did a great job. Lee Majors awash excellent. Bosworth was my favorite character along with Lilly. The pastor and his wife are very good as well. So many different types of people interface in this film. Racism is not an issue. Lower SES is also not an issue. It is a great family movie

Wow... fantastic acting and well written. I watched this one at my sister's house with 3 families. We all LOVED IT. Lee Majors rocked in his role. The story traces 12 people as their lives are affected by a preacher's sermon. The characters include a drug addict, a criminal, a couple mourning the loss of their daughter to a drunk driver, an ex convict, a doctor, a lawyer, a EMT, and a vet suffering post traumatic stress. As the plot develops we see how each person's choices affect others lives. I'm hooked and will be seeking out Lee Major's performances in other recent movies by this movie house. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie. you will be surprised at how great acting and a great story can overcompensate for a low budget.
