This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Excellent movie, made me laughed all the way. Describes exactly what one would expect to be a 8 hours marijuana trip, with its fails and victories, laughs and fears, ups and downs. Though the plot is absolutely gripping, my biggest surprise was the flawless acting of Anna Faris, who seemed to be very into the part, having pot-like behaviors and looking like a real pothead. Giving the movie the essence it needed.I would recommend anyone, either smokers or non-smokers, to give 'smiley face' a try as it is just plain fun to watch and an awesome journey to wherever the wind blows.

Worst stoner movie ever made. First of all, Anna Faris is terrible in this, she plays a stupid, unmotivated, dopey character. The storyline itself is awful, a weird roommate, she eats too many edibles, makes a to do list, just a bad plot. This movie could have been slightly good if Anna Faris hadn't been so stupid and slow. Stoner movies are supposed to reflect the good side of cannabis, not the bad. Although there was some aspects of the movie that reflected being stoned unlike others like paranoia and the inability to do the simplest of tasks like get money together, it focused to much on these areas and ultimately failed on making them as funny as they could have been. The ending is another downside to this movie as it ends up completely negative for Anna Faris' character and is everything a stoner movie shouldn't be. How high is the best stoner movie ever made and one of the best films in general. Their characters are heavy stoners and weed always has a happy ending for them where as in this film, it just causes problems. 1 star = one of the worst movies ever made

I really can't believe how low the rating is for this film. It's a fantastic portrayal of a hapless stoner with plenty of laugh out loud moments.I can only assume that the majority of viewers have not smoked before and hence struggle to get it.All credit to Anna Faris that has to be one of the best portrayals of a stoner i have seen. The facial expressions along with the drawn out thought process it was pretty much perfect.Highly recommend this to anyone who has or does enjoy the casual smoke as you'll find yourself laughing at and quite possibly relating to the character in a that's so true kind of way. It's a different and refreshing take on the typical stoner movie and in time i can see this film gaining a cult following.

Either the majority of people who scored this film above a 3 are baked out of their minds and the drugs have seriously distorted their sense of reality, or I'm just not that dumbed down. This movie was a lame, boring, and often annoying waste of time. Anna Faris's character was irritatingly quirky; the plot was ridiculous; and the "journey from A - Z" was more often than not simply just frustrating. There were many "why would you do that?!" moments.Within the first 10 minutes I was hoping it'd get better. 35 minutes later I was still holding onto hope in order to justify not turning it off. After the slow dragging 85 minutes were finally over, I had laughed once and ultimately regretted that I'd lost out on the additional 85 minutes of sleep I could have had....There hasn't been a real worthwhile stoner movie since Cheech and Chong. Although, Pineapple Express was pretty good.
