Best movie of this year hands down!
It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Did anyone else see the cameraman at 1:09:07...? I'm not even sure how I made it that far into the movie without falling asleep... but I'm glad I did because seeing it hit a new low by forgetting to edit out the cameraman was the icing on the cake for this horrendous movie.
Oh dear. Where do you start with this one. It's pretty terrible and I'm genuinely struggling to find anything positive to say about this film.The script is poor and very, very lame; the plot is paper thin; the cast deliver a dull and tedious mixture of incompetent and phoned-in performances; the direction (such as it is) is by-the-numbers, as is the minimal character development, and I really struggled to care about any of the characters.On the plus side, it was fun watching some seriously overweight actors trying to pretend they are navy seals, and I did manage (only just) to stick with it right to end. 4/10, maybe 4.5/10 because some of the cast are clearly trying to make the best of a bad job.
I am actually a fan of bad movies like this. But why would you call a movie the Navy Seals the battle for New Orleans (title on Netflix), when it is all in Baton Rouge. I see this stupidity in many movies and TV shows. The South is portrayed are all rural, or small towns, or low intelligence, etc. This is like calling a movie the Battle for San Francisco and setting it in Los Angeles. Of course the oh so smart folks who aren't afflicted with the Southern birthright would notice that immediately. The acting was not completely terrible, and the storyline was par for the course for low budget "disaster" movies. At least you did use the actual old capitol building in Baton Rouge.
OMG, this movie is so bad, why did they make it, bad acting, very bad directing, a child could do better In the start of the movie, navy seals shoot, but wow, who do they shoot, you don't See anything they hit, nothing! For a zombie movie, this is the worst, it cant get more bad than this. And then, the zombies when you see them first time, has no alteration, later they do....did they evolve...or is it just lack of total experience by the crew, that makes so many mistakes in this crappy movie.Don't even bother to watch itI will not recommend it to anyone.
