There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

Overall it was a good movie as a old-time Western. The problem I had was it describing it as him going after his abducted wife when it was someone else's wife in reality. I know that's probably a spoiler for the movie writer but get the facts straight instead of trying to surprise the viewers because that was the most disappointing part the rest was pretty good

I can't begin to say how bad this piece of s**t is. The only reason it got made is due to the Eastwood name being attached, as that name is gold in Hollywood, and Clint is considered royalty. His son Scott Eastwood has been acting a while now and is not bad at it but he was given horribly written dialogue to say in this nag. The Writer/Director of Diablo, Lawrence Roeck has a fascination with Clint it appears and somehow convinced his son Scott to star in this mess. With Scott involved, along with an aging Danny Glover the money was raised and this is the result. What a waste of money that could have been used to fund a real movie. Lawrence Roeck is a horrendous director and writer and should go find another line of work. I have not seen anything else Roeck has done and now do not feel the need to search more out so I can be tortured with atrocious dialogue and direction. I could not watch this one to the end and had to stop not long into it. It was that bad. Run as far as you can from this one folks.

Diablo was flat out pitiful. Horrible plot, terrible acting and mediocre costumes. A total waste of time and money. It's a shame Danny Glover and Adam Beach were in it although they were the only bright spots in the film.A movie nowhere near Eastwood western legend films. If you've come to see that old grit and gristle, you won't find it here. Our lead protagonist starts his chase after the supposed kidnapping of his wife and burning of his farm. He takes you on a painfully slow journey to nowhere other than to find his fight lies simply within himself. While that may seem like a cool plot twist, it fails on an epic level.Western fans move along ... nothing to see here.

Somewhere between the 9th and 12th scene, E/Jr. is riding in the foreground and looking over his shoulder at a modern day town. True, when I stopped the movie, and looked, all cars and trucks were out of sight, but still...no single man on horseback would blow off coming into town without stopping by for a drink: either for his horse or himself. Im not sure if this qualifies as a spoiler alert, but its the scene prior to his meeting up with Danny Glover's character for the first time. What I hate about cheesy westerns, is that the director can't be bothered to show a cowboy bringing along feed in a bag for the horses, nor can he be bothered to show a colt .45 shooting only 6 shots. Burt Reynolds, in his autobiography "But Enough About Me" says "I guess that's why its called a colt 45, cuz the Director lets you take 45 or so shots before reloading." My family is native American on my mom's side, and horse wrangling ranchers on my dad's. So, yeah, this really bothers me. Get it right, guys, or I will stop renting your crap at the video store.
