Great Film overall

I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

When I saw the name of movie, I thought it was a science-fiction but it is actually a romantic comedy. The movie includes both comedic scenes and dramatic plot. In movie there are some parts I like very much and there are some parts which are really insignificant. Frank's wife Susan is characterless. She says she loves Frank and marries him but she deceives him with Frank's best friend and has a baby but it is not Frank's child. But then Frank learns from doctor that he can not have baby. He can not be father and the lies of Susan come to the end. Despite all bad news, lies Frank decides to live with Susan again and he does not tell the truth his (stepdaughter). Living with Susan despite these things, I conclude that Frank is a foolish guy. He loves a woman who does not deserve his love and I think he keeps the marriage only for his child. If I were Frank, I leave Susan, take my child and begin a new life with my child. During the movie and after the movie I could not understand anything from Susan. She claims that she loves Frank but the she makes a lot of ridiculous things. But why she does that? Even now, I do not know the answer. The part I like very much in the movie is Frank's index cards. He prepares cards and chooses one of them and keeps going his life according the result of the card which he chooses. He chooses his fate, he does not get effected by someone when decide to do something and it is very logical for me. After watching movie, I sometimes prepare same cards to decide something. Lastly it is well- done film and if you want to watch a movie includes drama, comedy and romanticism each other, try it.

Frank Allen lives in a world of his own.He lives his life in line with the lists which he makes every day.One new year's day, he goes out with Susan,Buddy and the other his friends for celebrating.Susan says that she wants to get married that day.Furthermore,she tells that she chooses from between her friends to get married.Everybody admires already her.She has in mind Frank who is only too glad and they gets married with together.One day, Frank is revealed to be an efficiency expert that is just beginning to get hired for public speaking events after the recent publication of a booklet on saving time. At this first lecture, an attendee attempts to seduce Frank, whose wife, Susan, calls at an inopportune moment to hear another woman in the background. Frank escapes the room, remaining mostly faithful to his wife, but ends up in a car accident with a pregnant woman, whom he escorts to a hospital. His name ends up on the kid's birth certificate by mistake, which ends with Frank fighting against hard evidence that he's leading a double life. The tide turns, however, when DNA testing reveals that not only is he not the father of the baby in question, he's not the father of his own child either. He's sterile. Now Susan's past becomes an issue.I don't wanna mention about its topic exactly that it is surprising for audiences.It is fixed great topic into great screenplay.It is a good film-making to be watched to family gathering.Ryan Reynolds and Emily Mortimer perfectly put on an act.Frank's method at the film is created a life-style for some peoples living their lives to the fullest.It sometimes has emotional scene,sometimes has funny scenes.The movie also expresses the importance of the feeling of being forgiven successfully.I give eight out of ten to movie.If you have a good time and says that life is extenuated,you will watch it.

Although at first, you will think about this movie's genre as being action, Chaos Theory is actually quite an entertaining movie about family and marriage, about friendship and misunderstandings. It takes up the subject of how one misunderstanding can lead to another and the consequences that follow. It tells the story of how things can change in an instant and how one little thing can be the reason for everything else happening. It's hard to tell that was this is a drama or a comedy. In my point of view it blends the both genres in a mediocre way. It is a great movie. Everything is so real that you can relate with each and every event in the movie. Ryan Reynolds is perfectly cast as obsessive organizer Frank. The rest of the cast were also great. And together with the fantastic soundtrack they made this movie into an entertainment and a worthwhile experience. Emily Mortimer played great as the wife and Matreya Fedor was great as the daughter. Together they made a family worth watching. I think it is a great movie with a good message of letting loose and living your life. They teach you that you shouldn't interrupt conversations and you should listen to what the other person has to say before you add something. Chaos Theory is above average. It is unusual, funny at times, emotional at times and scores high marks for its search into the dramatic side of life changing events. Definitely it is better than what one might expect. I give this movie seven to ten and it deserves to be watched. I am sure that you'll enjoy very much and never be bored in any minute of this movie. Some of the scenes will be unforgettable for you. Highly recommended. Have a nice time when watching.

I am Cansu Ay from Çanakkale.Before i watched the "Chaos Theory", i thought it was attractive movie. The movie began with a wedding. But what was that? The groom was so coward of getting marry.He was afraid of being a married man. In that time, bride's father talked with groom. He told him that a long story.And story started…Tthere was married couples( Frank and Susan) for 7 years in the movie. Firstly, you think that everything is on the way.Everything is very nice. But one morning, Frank was late for his conference because of his wife, Susan.That situation was awful. Because Frank was so punctual person. He was very angry to her wife,Susan.When Frank went out for his conference, he had some troubles.Firstly, he caught the steamer. In the end, he went to conference. And then he would stay in a hotel room for that night.But there was a silly girl. She was drunk and she wanted to have a nice night with him. But Frank didn't want to it. And he ran away. While he was going to home, he came across a pregnant woman. And she was about to get birth. Then the unwanted situations went on. But Frank learned a reality in the hospital and he was disappointed. He went to home and asked to his wife if it was true or not. Susan was surprised and said to him something... Frank left her alone and went. He thought some plans for killing himself, Susan and another man. But he could not do. There was a little daughter of him. He was a father.I liked this movie. But this movie reminded me again that " Trust No One , Deceive Every One". This world is so cruel.Sometimes you do not want to believe some bad realities. But life.. You do not what will happen.
