Too much of everything
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Blistering performances.
I rented this the other night, and I was pleasantly surprised by just how good it was. It's a very emotional beautiful sad movie that deals with life, peer pressure, bullying, loss, friendship, and being comfortable with yourself. I might even buy it someday. The movie is about August "Auggie" Pullman who is a 10 year old boy with a facial deformity. He's been home-schooled up until now, but his parents want him to start 5th grade and attend real school and make friends. He becomes an outcast, but makes a few friends. Meanwhile, Auggie's sister, Via has started school and her best friend doesn't talk to her anymore, and she feels like her family neglects her. This movie is a rollercoaster of emotions and the perfect way to tell kids that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover. I highly recommend WONDER!!!
This movie make me crying. we got a lot of moral value from this movie. this movie tell us and make us thinking that "everyone is Unique" Thanks for the Beautiful Movie.
Firstly, I'd like to state that I have never seen such a beautiful movie like this. I don't really want to write anything about the summary. You should check this out with your own eyes. One for sure You will NOT regret!!!
Greetings from Lithuania."Wonder" (2017) was a very good family movie. When in a movie you see a scenes where 5th grade students are switching tables during lunch and "choosing sides" by doing that and you look at it with interest, you have to acknowledge the strength of a story, writing and directing skill. This is a good-feel movie which isn't overdone with to corny or sentimental scenes (although there were many sentimental scenes out there, they were done very well and did not bother me for a second). Overall, "Wonder" is that great guilty pleasure meant for all family - everyone will love it. Go check this movie out, its a keeper!
