Jem and the Holograms (2015)

If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.

When I was a kid, I watched the show Jem sometimes when it was on Boomerang, and when I saw the trailer,I felt really confused about why this adaption is one of the worst adaptions ever in cinema history.And when I learned about before the movie came out, the crew and the director asked people if they wanted to be in the movie and talk about how much the fans love Jem and talk about how she inspired them.But the fans that were in the movie and with the editing of the movie, it made the fans look like they were talking about the new movie and the movie Jem even when the cartoon is shown in the background of one of the fans videos in the movie.And the robot synergy is suppose to look like a A.I robot that is like a super computer, but in the movie, synergy looks like the son of BB-8 and Eve.

This movie stinks! To hell with it! I hate Jerrica! I hate Erica! Hate Rio! The little robot is stupid. Mixed messages like be yourself unless you a famous pop stair. Only good thing is Stephanie Scott. Also this movie gets the teen clichés right but not the person. Not all teen girls are like this. Even though it's a film that's about Jem and the holograms. It's Jem and the popograms! Also the pop songs suck! Girls lip sync throughout the movie. Please avoid! Please! The little robot was stupid as will they go on a hunt to find the parts to the robot. After the concert were the lights went out and everyone had to use their phones so our hero's would sing their pop songs, Jemmy pops the back of her dad's guitar and finds a piece to Synergy the little robot that couldn't. Instead of ending the movie right there, they decided to extend the movie. Gee! Anyway after going solo once and having her family torn they go to Jen's old house. How do they get back together by whistling. Any way the point is the band gets back together again and Rio names the band Jem and the Holograms for no reason. Also did the movie forgot to tell you there's a rival band. Erica as the bad guy was the cherry on top to this piece of trash. Hope there's no sequel. Oh by the way the rival gangs called the Misfits with Kesha as leader. Bye!Negative 3 of 10 stars

As much as this kind of movies are not my taste and it's true that this film is more Hanna Montana rather than Jem and the Holograms i still don't get it how this movie got a 4.0/10 here in IMDb i don't think it's amazing or has some of the greatest acting skills in the history of cinema but i liked the girls and they had a really good chemistry together and i liked that they tried to send a message to their fans although at times it did get a bit way too far with that one but in the end it wasn't that bad but it's more of an one time watch kind of a film.

First, I grew up watching Jem and had the doll and all. So when his came out I had to see it. I'm so glad I did and now I'm even watching it over and over on HBO. It was heart warming, fun, great music, and showed creative characters that teen girls can look up to. A clean, fun film that doesn't make me question if it's appropriate. This 39 year old loves the film. Great job with casting. Awesome tunes. So creative for today's young people. Good strong teen young ladies that are a great role-model today. Give it a chance and clear your mind if what your night think it should be. It's a good story about a family different from the "normal". Wooot!
