This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

This movie is compromised of nothing but racist and sexist jokes that do nothing except make you cringe at the abnormality of it all. The only returning characters from its predecessor are all the unwelcome ones that never got a laugh the first time around. It seems that these actors had had no other options since their talent was so limited in the first place that they just had to take what was given to them. That was a talentless, worthless, and laughter-less script. The only part that was worthy of laughter was in the final thirty minutes of the film where a funny and accomplished actor decided (for whatever reason) to come back for the sequel and give the only laughs of the movie. When his cameo was over, so was the movie. This goes to show that Hollywood will do whatever it takes to make a sequel out of a movie that really didn't need one just to see if any money could be made out of it, which has been done many times before. This one shows that without the correct cast and script that nothing could be made well.

I'm watching this now, and it's terrible. So so bad, and it's written by the same guy as the first one. It's a clone, but much, much worse. The new Ryan Reynolds is just a douche prick (not as Monty, just as a new idiot), Naomi (the girl with the massive... u know) returns but has got worse at acting, Calvin (with the urinal problem) is a totally diff character, the girls at Ta Ta's is a replacement for Anna Farris, and she's terrible, there's an idiot in the kitchen with a fake stupid speech problems, nick and t-Dog return with no point, Justin longs paranoid whiny replacement is equally fake, and there's even a new penis game with vagina's. I think counsellor Bishop is the only character that hasn't been cloned. It's reminds of those terrible later American pie movies. No wonder it's a straight to DVD

Inside the recent avalanche of comedies targeted to the young adults spectators (at the style of,for example, director and producer Judd Apatow's and actor Will Ferrell's works),one of my favourite ones was Waiting.Strictly speaking, the film was far from being great; its story was almost non-existent,its direction lacked of any style or vision, and it had also had poor cinematography and weak edition. However,in spite of all that fails,I had enjoyed that movie pretty much because of its cynical and irreverent sense of humor and because of its picturesque characters, who were perfectly balanced between reality and parody; in other words, they were over the top,but they had never lost their humanity.Now,4 years later, the sequel of that film, called Still Waiting...,is released straight-to-DVD and it is obvious it tried to equal the chemistry between the cast and the humor from the screenplay of the first movie. However, this sequels falls short on every level,at the same time,it is an unnecessary and boring sequel.Besides, when the initial credits are the best moment from a movie,we are in serious trouble.Various members from the cast of the first movie refused to participate in here.I missed Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris on this movie.Justin Long and Chi McBride make brief appearances, but their presence feel very forced.I think the best members from the cast on this movie are Andy Milonakis,Alanna Ubach and Luis Guzmán.On the main character,John Michael Higgins feels a little bit bland. He is one of those actors who have familiar faces, but they are not too well known (I think his most famous work was on the atrocious TV series Kath and Kim,and, besides of that,I have seen him on movies like The Break-Up and Yes Man). However, although his performance on this movie is a little bit weak,I do not think it was his fault, but the screenplay's,because his character was simply not well written.Still Waiting... is a poor and boring sequel to a very enjoyable film.I think I did not laugh more than two or three occasions on this movie and that means there is something wrong with the screenplay. The initial and final credits result entertaining, but the rest of the movie unfortunately do not.Skip Still Waiting...,and try to see Waiting instead.

Ugh. Are you serious? This movie took everything that was great about the original, blew it way over the top, and ruined any chance it had of being decent. I can honestly say I didn't even smile for the entire thing, what was there to smile about? The guy who was an obvious rip-off of the character Ryan Reynolds played? That did nothing but spout really generic, un-creative and obscene jokes the whole movie? Woah, never seen that. Or the main character who's so pathetic, obnoxious, un-funny as well as un-likable that we can only hope he doesn't get the promotion? Or perhaps the stuff that wasn't just not funny as well as over-played it self from the first one making triumphant returns to further beat the dead horse? Such as Naomi and the so-not-worth-watching-it's-painful Andy Milonakis. Look out everyone, white guys pretending to be gangster. Comedy 101, here. Although, I'll give them an ounce of credit for obviously realizing how stupid the two characters were the first time around. Oh, wait, I'm forgetting about the cook with the lateral lisp! HA HA! He has a speech impediment and sounds super-funny! HA HA!SPOILER - But all that aside, I think the greatest insult was ruining one of the great things from Waiting, and that was Justin Long's character. Who was sick of just settling, said F it and went out on his own. So in this they have him a porn and pill addicted f-up because of his decision to leave the restaurant? Right on. Someone stop the funny-train, because I'm rolling in the aisles. END SPOILER Please, I beg of you, do not watch this movie. If you must, just watch Adam Carolla's part. As I'm the Ace-Man's number one fan, and even his role couldn't get this rating above a two.
