Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

One can't put in words what this movie means to me. I was 44 when I enlisted in the Army giving up my career as a District Manager so that I could do what we ask of our children. Although I spent 6 years in the Air Force when I was younger it wore on me seeing the news of those losing their life fighting for out Country. Why should it only be the young who are willing to put their lives on the line for what they believe in. So yes, I can relate to what Kevin Bacon's character felt, the guilt. This movie should be required in all schools prior to Memorial Day weekend.

If this story doesn't move you, not much will. A very real depiction of what happens to a Fallen Marine and how he gets back home to his family...Semper Fi Chance...Until Valhalla Brother...

I was unaware of this movie until the end of 2016 when it appeared on Amazon Prime Video. Kevin Bacon being a great actor, and having done very good movies, I figured let's give it a go. I wasn't sure what to expect regarding the movie plot. I also did not realize it is based on true events. It was very moving, and very eye opening in regards to the respect and tribute given to a fallen soldier. I highly recommend a viewing but will forewarn that it is a sad movie. Nonetheless, it is also sort of inspirational knowing that a fallen soldier is not just passed off with a courtesy call notifying the closet kin. It is the least our government and militia should provide when a tragedy of war does occur.
