There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

The Myth is one of the best Chinese Movies as well as it is also a remarkable movie in the world wide film industries. This movie brings Chines Mythology which is also one of the oldest in the world. Through this movie we easily can have a view point of Chines Mythology, their war art, martial art, painting art, social structure, social value every come in good shape in this movie. It is not only a Chinese movie rather we may say it a continental movie. A part of the plot based on Indian background. The hero Jackie Chan shows a great acting along with the heroine Kim Hee‑sun. Her beauty, her smile, her suffering, frustration, long patience everything is so transparent and vivid. Cinemaholic people mush see it. It is enjoyable and also potential in consideration of knowledge.

This film is a love story that connects two people that are two thousand years apart. The modern plot and the ancient plot merges together seamlessly in this film. Every transition is done well, making the complex plot quite easy to follow. The plot is innovative and original. The film is entertaining and fun, particularly the comedic action scenes. The prime example is the rat glue factory scene and the mausoleum fight scene. The anti-gravity scenes are convincingly made, and results in quite a lot of fun (the mid air swim got me laughing)! The only criticism I have is the wooden acting of Tony Leung. He can really do better than that.

I don't know what is good in this movie?I can see only two things.First,Jackie Chen fighting scenes. That man can really do everything he wants with his opponents. But we all know that Jackie can fight without cascaders.Second,a I will only say the scene with glue. That is my favorite scene in this film.Bad sides are everything else.Special effects are bad and I think they ran out of money. The script is OK but sometimes you feel like this is too much.I couldn't bare to see the end of this movie. It is boring and long.Very, very long.I felt like there is no ending and we've all see that type of story.I think that the script was a little bit too much for the director. Those scenes where they actually fly are so poorly made that I didn't know what to do.To laugh or cry.I like Jackie Chen's work but this one is just bad.

I've always been a fan of Jackie Chan. His ability to act serious and comedic has always been his strengths, this movie however was highly disappointing pretty stupid and definitely overrated. This story had potential but was poorly executed. Could have been good as 2 separate movies however combined make such a poor combination it can be compared to dipping lychee's in salt.On the one hand you have Jackie Chan in an epic love story past and present, dreams and millennium long promises waiting to be fulfilled. Epic battle sequences with adventurous archeology. However on the other hand you have Jackie Chan in his usual comedic self fascinated by dreams, action and comedy. Now if you add them together you have a serious script with added action comedy which ruin the mood, random useless scenes in India which in no way further the plot and instead a not very entertaining filler smack bang in the middle where crucial plot development could occur. The very beautiful Indian girl disrupts the main and real love story in the movie between the Korean girl. Sexual references in this movie especially when we see flashes of underwear from the Indian girl are quite inappropriate in this film. Sexual references with the Korean girl arguably could have been necessary.Tony leung kar Fai is a pretty horrible actor (well in this film anyway). He has no chemistry whatsoever with Jackie Chan. His presence weaken the plot and his fateful end leaves viewers with no emotion for him whatsoever, personally i laughed at his pitifulness. The action epic battle sequences in the Qin era were pretty impressive i must say especially the mountain of a Slain army.Quite a disappointing entry from Jackie Chan. This movie is in no way art-house, highly overrated and extremely poorly executed
