It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

Really an excellent film from Bollywood.Yes it is a remake of the Hollywood film memento but it's awesome and terrific and wonderful. The story was good. The direction from AR murgados was awesome. The screenplay was nice. The dialogues were awesome. The songs were really beautiful good and pleasant to hear. And yeah it has the method actor of Bollywood Aamir khan so the acting will be definitely terrific and awesome by him The acting by Asin was good too.So yes guys it's a must watch film and remember guys the story is really very sad.

A lot of peeps here are calling out on others who compare this movie with Memento saying it's an unfair comparison and that this one is more fun to watch because it's Bollywood and the story's changed a little.No.If you judge movies you have to apply the same standard across the board. It is disappointing to see so many Bollywood movies in the top movies' list which do not deserve to be there at all. Three idiots, Lagaan, Vishwaroopam are all great movies but if you think they are comparable with other Hollywood classics, I'm sorry but you're deluded. Other Indian movies by Mani Ratnam, Satyajit Ray deserve more recognition in this respect.I really hate it when Bollywood films fail to acknowledge where they get their inspiration from if the main premise of a plot is blatantly copied from elsewhere (be it from other States in India or overseas). A movie should give recognition where it's due. To do otherwise is intellectual theft.

Sanjay Singhaniya forgets his memory every 15 minutes (Something like that) but some how he has been able to compile vast amounts of research and been able to track down the people responsible for the murder of his girlfriend, Kalpana and his memory loss...Jiah Khan plays a medical student who follows Sanjay, for what? I have no idea! I haven't watched a Bollywood film in years, but I remember the promotional work was quite enticing for this movie, so I thought I'd watch it..I found myself skipping an entire hour of the films so-called back-story...First of all, I'm bored of saying it is a copy of a Hollywood film (Memento) so I won't...The film has huge plot holes that are too numerous to name for example how is he able to fight so well if he forgets everything...and the concept of Sanjay being communications tycoon before was far-fetched....and then you have the acting..Jiah Khan and Asin are just awful.. the comedy is so painful. But one thing I hated above all was the random love story..it did not fit..I understand the reason..but it was not executed properly. And then we have the so-called epic 'Fight scenes' which are not very good at all.Apart from the song 'Guzarish' there was nothing else I liked.
