Great Film overall
Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
The movie was good but the ending made it go from "this movie i can see again to hell no"
What happend to Dirty Dancing? I mean, they better call it Dirty Singing. I know musical are all about singing and they are good singing but man, they cannot dance at all. Dirty Dancing is a dancing movie and choosing actors that can't dance wasn't a good idea. I hope i will forgot this thing fast.
The original film is/was amazing. Acting? What acting? Singing? A little of that! Dancing? You call that dancing!!!! Wast of time so don't bother!
Horribly cast. Horribly acted. Horribly filmed. What a disgrace to one of my favorite movies of all time. Abigail Breslin had no business being cast as Baby (maybe Baby Face or Baby Fat would have worked better). There is not an ounce of cuteness, grace, or talent in her. She is pudgy and awkward and has zero rhythm. I would seriously like to meet the blind, deaf, and dumb human that cast her. And THAT is the actor they chose as Johnny Castle? Patrick Swayze was a legend and this nobody just sucked the entire soul out of the movie. So all in all, if you'd like to torture yourself with a movie that makes you want to scream WTF at every scene, then this is your jam. I think Jennifer Gray should be allowed to burn this movie to the ground to never be seen again, in front of every terrible actor that wasted their time on making it. So yeah, this movie is the worst thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
