Such a frustrating disappointment
Instant Favorite.
This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
OK, so I watched this movie as part of a thing I do where I watch the US box office number ones from one year prior and now it was time for the 1D flick. Apart from a few guilty pleasure songs, I don't really love this band like a lot of the screaming teenagers that the movie shows. Still whether we like them or not, there's no denying they're huge right now. Now if this success is to continue, that's another discussion. So I sat back and grooved to some songs I like and learned a little more about them. It wasn't something I desperately needed to know, but since I was already watching it, I ended up just finding out about this. Now as far as the boys go, I can see that this can be quite overwhelming for them and that they are just normal young people looking for a good time. One Direction has become a very loved, but also hate band. Personally I always separate the music from the individual and as far as I'm concerned, they seem like nice lads. So my advice is if you're a directioner definitely watch this, and if you're not, well if you don't mind them, see it just for the sake of actually seeing them as they are and not the product they're sellingRating: 4,5/10
Was that a movie, i felt i was watching the behind the scenes. It was such a horrible thing which i ever saw. Their stupid songs after every 10 minutes and then they carried on with their behind the scenes. I would request everyone not even to buy a pirated copy or download this movie from the internet. It is an utter non sense.I felt like running out of the theatre just after half an hour of the movie and saw this movie because of directioner sister.The whole movie seemed scripted to me. PLease do not watch it and dear directioners at least don't give this horrible movie 10 stars on IMDb in order to increase its rating. At least do justice with the good movies.If you rate this movie 10 star, what rating do you give to good movies. There is no option of 0 or half stars otherwise i would have probably chosen that>
I loved this movie. I watched this movie for the first time when it came out. I thought it was going to be just another stupid biography but it was amazingly good! It isn't just a bunch of boys screwing around! There is good and happy moments and then there is the sad touchy feely moments! They are hilarious and loving boys who have made it so far in life. They are there for their families, fans, and friends and no matter how much they get caught up in their career they will never forget about the ones they love. Most people hate on them but after they see this movie they will take interest.I can't wait to see them perform live! Directioners... this one is for you!
Its same as watching 1D's BTS on their youtube vevo channel. I expected videos of their concerts from their tour. But the only concert video was the O2 Arena concert. They did show what celebrity life is, everybody kept saying that the boys are down to earth, but who are we kidding! The other band without a name (Wrong Direction) that went on tour with them is just awesome. Dan Richards (guitarist) is cute as a button. By this movie, I learned that 1D gets credit for a lot more than they really deserve. The movie was more like a music video album. Not good. I tolerated it only because, well, the boys are cute as teddy bears.
