This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

Watching it is like watching the spectacle of a class clown at their best: you laugh at their jokes, instigate their defiance, and "ooooh" when they get in trouble.

OK i hated this movie with a Passion, i didn't care for the loss for Kimberly at first, i was thinking maybe it wasn't gonna be bad. but then they added the fact that the grandma was the queen? WTF. this was just a poor way to make money,.. it got 7.3million views. but thank god there making another movie coming this Oct (2011) when kal comes back. this will be the final chapter. although the original Marney wont be in it. they are replacing her with a different actress. NOT SARA PAXTON. and i think there replacing kal. i also heard that Sophie will be playing the new Marney,. well have to see.PS. the love interest with Marney and eian. could of just started. they rushed it.

it was i digress to Halloween town, and Sara Paxton sucked really bad and Kimberly j brown fit the charther of Marnie way better then Sara, and what did happen to Sophie the youngest sister , and its Cromwell's , piper is Marnie's middle name i believe, and Hope Sara Paxton does not come back , that Kimberly comes back she is a ten times better then Sara.they should have waited for her to come back from making her other movie big bad wolf, it was not bringing down the house, it seems that people don't know there last names , in the return to Halloween, it is the COMWELLS not PIPER.I'm a big fan of halloween town i have to watch it every year this time of the year, and I'm hoping that the dictator will read how many people are disappointed what they think of Halloween and what it has become, and will get Kimberly to play Marnie Cromwell.

I thought that the movie was OK. The fact that they actually skipped that part were Marie went to halloweentown for a year to train was stupid. Also where did that castle come from. In the first 3 Halloweentown was not that big. Also if the ultimate power was so evil that it could control anyone and they would have no control over there own body hwy wouldn't they destroy it. It took about 300 years for 3 Cromwell's to be born all at the same time who knows haw long it will take for another 3 to be born. Also hiding the gift in a book on a shelf is the worst sport to hide it since everyone knows that it is one of the first places to look when trying to destroy a room. HELLO!!! If they could find the box that has been hidden under ground for 300 years how long do you think it will take for them to find that one. But on the other hand the movie was very well played out. The fact that they are doing research about there history with out magic is very close to normal because you cant use magic to find everything exspecally when you don't have them.

Oh ... my ... god...What in hell's name has happened to Halloweentown!? Seriously, Halloweentown was just like this little downtown village like area, and Grandma Aggie's house. And now ... now it's transformed into this massive downtown Chicago area, and from out of nowhere here's this Witch University. And Marnie?!?!?! What the hell happened to our beloved Marnie, replaced by Sara Paxton, and not our beloved Kimberly J. Brown, because of scheduling complications ... BULL CRAP!!!! She was probably just sick of Disney and there horribly famous sequels. The first two films were great. The third was kinda pushing it, but this has no excuse. First off, the special effects were lame. The plot was lame, the fact that Grandma Aggie is a minor character is lame, the now Marnie was lame, and the fact that she didn't destroy the thing in the end so Disney can have another sequel is lame. I'm a big fan of Halloweentown and all, and have loved the movie since I was a kid, but seriously ... Disney doesn't understand the concept of you CAN have TOO MUCH of a good thing.
