The Walking Deceased (2015)
A group of survivors from all walks of the apocalypse – an idiotic Sheriff with definite coma-induced brain damage, his hardass son and a hobo with only a crossbow to stave off the walking dead, four squabbling friends forced to survive this zombieland together, and a lonely zombie who just needs love to fully regain his warm body – leave their once-safe mall hideout in search of the rumored Safe Haven Ranch, a refuge untouched by the zombie virus that has ravaged humanity.

It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Loved it. I can't believe the one star reviews.If this was as low a budget film that everyone is going on about then it was really well done.The acting was great and sending up the characters that they did was fantastic, CAAARRRRLLLLL. They used all the obvious flaws that we see in the Z movies and referenced so many different Z films and TV programmes. I was chuckling all the time which I put down to understanding the references and not looking for errors.Well done to the film makers and do another one please.
This doesn't work most of the time, though I haven't seen any episode from the Walking Dead yet, so some of the jokes might resonate to the viewers of the TV show more, than they did to me. But it's not only the Walking Dead that get spoofed here. You also have a take on the zombie rom-com (where we can hear the thoughts of a zombie who's just trying to be human).It's not that there is a lot of thought put into this. But it does get violent at times and there is also nudity, so at least it's not shying away and going the PG route (if that either helps or takes anything away from your viewing pleasure). Don't forget though: Mostly it's silly! If you get into the mood for it, it might work for you - not a great movie, but can be slightly entertaining
I liked it. Its a nice wink wink to zombie movies and series. Will you be rolling on floor laughing no but its wink wink funny. Don't watch trailers the one i saw was awe-full but i watch the movie and was pleased by it . I gave it a 10 because the score it has now is not correct its to low and it deserves maybe a 7 or 8.The sheriff was great if you seen the walking dead you know he was great. Carl was great same reason for as the sheriff . The zombie land reference aren't that clear but you know them when you see them . Warm body stuff in it was also clear . All in all if you seen a lot of zombie stuff you have no problems . First time zombie watchers will find it a bit confusing.
The one star I give this stinker is only because there are a couple of funny moments and lines. I also kind of appreciated the homage to The Walking Dead (the sheriff, an obvious Rick, is called Sheriff Lincoln...the last name of actor Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick in The Walking Dead).The script is one of the worst imaginable. Jokes and gags fall cringingly flat left and right. This is only exacerbated by the horrid non acting from the cast of non actors. The plot is a silly mess. The directing is non existent. Skip this unwatchable dretch.
