The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

If you don't link it to the original Alice in Wonderland Disney movie, then it is worth watching.I think it would have been better if they named the movie/ mini series something other than Alice so people won't compare it to Alice in Wonderland. They took some ideas from the Disney movie, like going to a "wonderland" and they modified some characters. However, this mini series is not the real version of the cartoon, it has a totally different story.Never the less, I enjoyed watching it, and somehow it made me feel like a kid watching a movie in the 90s. The costumes, scenes, and acting felt like a 90s movie for kids/teenagers.It is a cute/weird movie, watch it if you have some time to kill :)

I just caught this by chance on SyFy today. It was incredible. I'm shocked I'd never even heard of it. Surely not for every taste, but it kept me watching until the end.Alice In Wonderland was already a 'shroom trip of literature, but this was taken to another level. A great update to an already wigged-out tale. The British guy that played the Mad Hatter, Andrew Potts, really made this thing for me. He was excellent. Truly odd in every way. I know some people aren't up for such things, but one thing is for sure, you won't be bored. The only people I recognized in this were Colm Meaney and Kathy Bates, as the King and Queen of Hearts. Their parts were fairly small, but everyone in this thing seemed perfect for their roles. Bates was supremely evil. A great job by all involved here.

I really wish they made more episodes of this. This is my absolute favorite version of "Alice in Wonderland". I loved how they made it in the future after the old Alice been there and gone. It was a cool twist that they made Wonderland dark and gray and not very happy anymore. I liked how they still made sure every character from the old "Alice in Wonderland" was still in the show, plus some new others that really made the show great. The ending made me very happy. The whole time watching i was hoping that Alice would end up with Hatter. Me and my friend also fell in love with Hatter, and we loved the way they told the story. We really wish they made more episodes.<3

This was an absolute total rip-off garbage of the classic books. Alice was NOT suggested to play an adult which she was supposed to play a teenager not an overacted drama queen adult. I thought this was one of my worst movies of the year far worst than bedtime stories, spiderwick, and bolt those were some of the movies that came out over a year now and those that I kinda disliked but this film was worst than these movies. It was boring, slow, garbage-like, lame, and weak that I had to turn around and watch War of the worlds now I can't understand how much people like this movie and others don't but if it were me, I would lower the rating. I expected this movie to be a charming movie with a girl that looked like a child in the ad but I knew it was a grown up but only cared about the script and the film, they were both lame. Alice in Wonderland is not my choice fairy tale but quite charming, this Alice was terrible, it made me turn around to change the channel and never expect to watch it again not even as a grandmother. I hope they don't put this trash on TV ever again unless they're going to do it every once in a while.
