what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Don't you just hate those comedies when you feel the joke coming two hours before the punchline?? well, I absolutely hate it, and in this movie, it just never happens, always surprised, and that's what I really liked about it... This marked the beginning of the career for "Les Inconnus" probably the most famous humorists there are in France... but I still preferred their next comedy: "Les trois frères" Still pretty good... 8/10

this film is one of the funniest comedy when u like absurd humor. without any money the five heroes who will be known as "les inconnus" on french stages and comedies already show how they can make people laugh.

It was very fun movie. Something like french version of The Police Squad!, with typical good french humor AND typical Police Squad jokes. Watching it I thought, that maybe (I say just "maybe"), besides Police Squad, it has the influence on Naked Gun creators, too ? Some jokes was extremely close...But why it's so underrated and not well known even in France ?..
