There are better movies of two hours length. I loved the actress'performance.

Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

This movie was so entertaining but it's really enjoyable at any point Akshay Kumar was funny Katrina was superb ANIL was superb paresh was brilliant comedian Malika is superb NANA was a great performer Songs are really impressive My rating is 7/10Enjoy this with family

I'm making no pretense about this movie. The fact that Akshay keeps racking up the hits shows me there are an awful lot of people who are eager to spend their money for pure escape. So this movie is an honest transaction with no claims to art. For the millions who want what it offers, they can go without fear they will regret it. To me, the thing I liked best was the female cast. It is rare for a movie to bring together such an eyeful. I was sold by the trailers that showed Malaika, Katrina, and Mallika. And the movie delivered.One comparison I'll make is with Kyon Ki and Garam Masala. When I watched those movie there were many moments when I was stopped by "what in the world were they thinking?" By contrast, I didn't really have those moments in Welcome. Also, Anil, Nana, and Feroze really added to the comedy. All three of them are solid performers. In fact, I'd say Malaika, Katrina, Mallika, Anil, Nana, and Feroze were the best things I found in the movie. No wonder it rang up such high sales.

Just by mimicking south Indian traditions and actors don't help any movies.I am always amused with Anil kapoor, he acts in a lot of south Indian film remakes and yet he mimics south Indian actors .This is really in bad taste. Anil kapoor should stop mimicking south Indian actors and making a mockery of themWhat a great actor like Nana patekar is doing in this movie. I don't know why Akshay kumar always acts in repeated roles. Katrina kaif does usual showing legs and other stuff. katrina is yet another actress in bollywood who doesn't know how to act

Paresh Rawal is Akshay Kumar's uncle...He is searching for a bride from a really good and respected family for him...Nana Patekar is a big time gangster...Anil Kapoor is his right hand and Katrina Kaif is Nana's sister...Now Nana is also looking for a bridegroom from a really good and respected family for Katrina's marriage...Nana Patekar has met almost every bridegroom in the town but no one is ready to marry a don's sister..Katrina and Akshay meet in a shopping mall where Katrina saves Akshay from the fire in the mall...Akshay cant stop thinking about her now...They start meeting quite often and fall in love...Akshay meets Nana and tells him about his uncle and aunt...Nana tells Akshay to get them to a party...When Paresh sees Nana he is shocked..Now he doesn't want Akshay to marry a don's sister..So on the day of engagement, Paresh sets up a drama to break the engagement...Mallika Sherawat acts as Akshay's wife and causes a lot of confusion in the engagement party...Feroze Khan who is a bigger don compared to Nana Patekar, would have come from Italy to attend the function. Looking at the drama taking place, he orders that the engagement cannot take place..Everyone are unhappy except Paresh..After a long discussion with Akshay,he puts across a challenge telling if Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor leave their current profession and become respectable individuals, then Katrina and Akshay can marry...So the task of fulfilling the challenge begins and it also succeeds and finally Akshay and Katrina get married...Overall the songs are horrible...The movie is worth watching at least once...I give it 6/10
