Too much of everything
Sick Product of a Sick System
It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
The movie is "nice", both main characters are, they're funny and Julieta Zylberberg in particular is very talented. Scenes way too long, with no resolution at all, and others (as the ending comes) are shot SO fast that turns out to be unlikely. One big waste: Daniel Rabinovich's role, a genius without the right script to perform a great part. Diego Torres, barely a few cleaver lines and his usual charisma. Locations: good choices in Buenos Aires, although kind of unreal. The movie is predictable and there's no mystery at all, but it's good enough for a Saturday afternoon. PS: I should write this review in Spanish: most of it's viewers should be from Argentina, Latin America or Spain.
