Second Life (2014)
Fascinated by a computer game that simulates the real world with unlimited possibilities, a young family man, an employee of an online store, gradually loses his sense of reality. Unsuited to family life, he makes a choice towards the flat world, creating in it an imaginary image of a man with a capital letter. Having made a bet on the virtual space, he does not notice how “orobotel". One day, coolly pressing “delete” on a folder with family photos, the only one that reminds him of reality, he finally plunges into the digital space and forgets about his loved ones...

Excellent but underrated film
It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
