Slow pace in the most part of the movie.
Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
"I Bury the Axis" is a strange and very funny stop-motion propaganda film by Lou Bunin and it made me laugh. Using what appear to be rubber or clay dolls, he humorously encourages the folks watching to do their part in defeating the Axis.It begins with Hitler singing a little song about how he's taken over several countries and will do more...that is, until he gets to Moscow. The, similar sorts of songs are then sung by Mussolini and Hirohito. All of them have very clever lyrics and must have had the folks laughing in the movie theaters. Surprisingly enjoyable today as well. Well worth seeing and I was genuinely shocked how much I could enjoy this sort of thing.
