The film was still a fun one that will make you laugh and have you leaving the theater feeling like you just stole something valuable and got away with it.
It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Killing Eve was a solid 10 before the season finale. I'm not an ersatz critic as so many are on IMDb. I just want to be entertained. Sorry, the season finale was really stupid. I don't care about season two
I really don't know what happened after the fourth episode. It felt like a new writer came on board or they ran out of ideas or they just couldn't follow up the momentum they had established. I'm not sure but I do know one thing. This show really went off the rails. A clever analyst is pursuing a skilled assassin with zero skill, zero ability to defend herself, no weapons and nothing but ignorance and vulnerability. My God. Hard to relate to a character so hapless, so unprepared, so ignorant. The opposition is always one step ahead of her. She should be dead. Yet she loved on. Sorry. Bowed out after the fifth episode. Could have been great. Why Sandra Oh anyway?
The only more inept "spy" than the ones in this ridiculous series would be Inspector Clousseau. Cook dinner for a murderous assassin who breaks into your apartment? Sure!Chase a murderous assassin into a dark nighclub unarmed? Why not!Walk up to her unarmed & expect her not to shoot? Certainly!But if these scenarios sound good to you, then you'll like this totally unrealistic show about the most inept bunch of MI-5/6 staff you've ever seen, complete with plot holes through which you could drive a truck. Otherwise, watch something infinitely better like "The Game".
Wow, what a season ! I expected it to be good, but not that good. Sandra Oh's dialogues, awkward expressions and comic timing are awesome. I watched this show because of Jodie Comer from The White Princess and man, she has taken her acting skills to another level here. Great show, can't wait for the next season.
