Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .

The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

This is a less than mediocre romantic comedy that unfortunately follows the oh-so-stereotypical book of how to make a romantic comedy in three easy steps. But still there were the odd moment here and there worth a laugh, but as a whole then "The Shrink Is In" is not a movie that will bedazzle you in any way.The story is about Samantha who takes over her therapist's office as she is going away. Here Samantha meets the guy of her dreams and have to imitate being a professional therapist in order to get close to the guy.For a romantic comedy then "The Shrink Is In" doesn't have all that much of an impressive cast list. Courteney Cox was adequate in this movie, but she was actually outshined by David Arquette. This movie is mostly for the fans of Courteney Cox or David Arquette. And if you are looking for a good romantic comedy to entertain you, then I would suggest another title, as there are far better romantic comedies available.

An easy-going, boil-in-the-bag romcom. It relies a little too much on slapstick to fill out its 90 mins but, given its simple plot it's got enough wit and clean charm to make a go of it.I've always been a Courtney Cox fan and she definitely gives us something in addition to regurgitating Monica Gellerisms. David Arquette is a sweet, chubby version of Adam Sandler. This slightly off-kilter duo, a real life couple, have a first-class straight 'guy' in Viola Davis (one of the better coloured actresses in Hollywood, doing the day job stoically). There's nothing to it but it's not too sickly for a wet afternoon on the sofa. 3/10

The movie works. It's more witty than outragously funny. But it's pretty good escapist fare for those who seek a little wacky romance. Cox has pretty good comic timing (but we already knew this) and Arquette seems pretty likable (forget Ready to Rumble). There's a pretty decent supporting cast that have surprising comic talents.Check it out for yourself.

It's a very amusing movie, totally a must see,it has a good combination between Comedy and Romance..and...Courteney Cox is fantastic (again). Her husband (David Arquette)is playing the role of the boy (Henry) that has fallen in love for Samantha.:)Fireworks guaranteed! =)
