Simply A Masterpiece
Pretty Good
The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Quite funny... Very short, classic jokes but somehow makes you laugh...
"Tiny Detective" is writer and director Andrew Bush's take on the successful television show "True Detective". In this 2-minute movie, successful actresses Kate Mara and Ellen Paige (who also would have been a good choice for the "real" show) play the title characters, two women who are police detectives, but constantly run into obstacles due to being very small. That's all there is to it and all the humor relies on that. It's an okay watch at 2 minutes and it's good it does not run any longer as it may have become repetitive at some point otherwise. All in all, I thought this was a good watch and it's not so usual to see stars in short films like these, but Funnyordie actually manages to get some big names frequently for their works. Recommended.
