This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

This film takes three men on a journey to the US to the heart of the porn industry to meet and "date" their favorite performers and see what happens. Well, actually that is probably not a fair description of the film because what the very obvious goal is to confront them with reality and get some footage of them looking shaken by the real people and staged unpleasantness of shooting pornography. This is pretty clear from the outset because Huntley's narration is constantly delivered in a rather heavy and serious tone – asking questions with his words but answering them with his tone and with the wider delivery. So the film may ask "will the three porn fans like what they see" but it is delivered in such a sinister way that you know the film has its agenda and will get to it no matter what. The bad thing is that it has a valid point – the easy accessibility to free pornography online is not a good thing, nor is exposure to it at a young age, or overexposure at any age, so the film does have a point to make so it is a real shame that it feels the need to push it and labor it. This weakens the film badly for me because it never feels genuine, it never feels like it was interested in letting the three guys get to their own conclusions – it was going to get them there no matter what it had to do. In the end the film doesn't make the impact it wants to and in the final few minutes wheels out someone to spell it out to the three of them. Outside of this it seems that the guys are not affected too much – some reflections but nothing too dramatic, certainly nothing that lines up with the tone of the film as a whole. The guys themselves don't offer too much but general reflection and there isn't too much rawness in them. At times it is nice to see them discuss among themselves but even then you get the feeling the crew are pushing for their agenda to be delivered. The porn performers themselves are pretty much par for the course – normal people who do a very extreme job but nothing to make the scales fall from your eyes.As such this is a rather wasted film which spoils itself in its earnestness and eagerness to reach the conclusion it so clearly wants from the very start. The sad thing is that the film has a valid point to make, but by pushing it so heavily, it really doesn't deliver it and comes off as obvious and unsuccessful.
