The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Watching it is like watching the spectacle of a class clown at their best: you laugh at their jokes, instigate their defiance, and "ooooh" when they get in trouble.

Not having much experience with this topic, I found this film to be a very interesting story told from the point of view of Ryan, a father whose baby develops cancer at an extremely young age. It follows the ups and downs of the father's journey and his story of how he copes along the way with his wife and family by creating a situation-based video game relating to these experiences. What I loved about this film was his use of animation to portray his emotions in a way that I never thought possible, I found the graphic animation of the father's created moments through video game medium often more moving than the parents themselves talking about what they were feeling. It gives you an insight as to why he chose to choose this project and successfully raises the awareness of cancer in young children.
