Hunted: The War Against Gays in Russia (2014)
A shocking look at how a recent anti-gay amendment to a Russian propaganda law has led to increased assaults on gay men and women. In modern-day Russia, where it is estimated that just 1% of the LGBT population lives completely openly, a recent anti-gay amendment to a “propaganda” law has been followed by a rising number of assaults on gay men and women by vigilantes who, more often than not, go unpunished for their crimes.

Lack of good storyline.
best movie i've ever seen.
This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
Anger, Hatred, Disgust, Fear, Despair, Shame... The list could go on. The only downside to the documentary is there is no happy note to end on, but of course.. how could there be? In fact, I was SO angry, it inspired me to write a song about it and how disgraceful people are still treated in the 21ST CENTURY simply because of who they love. I'm not going to lie, I had some very evil thoughts in my mind about what I would do to these disgusting human beings if I had the power. Honestly, the level of anger brought me to tears because naturally, we are so helpless and there is nothing we can do. The documentary definitely succeeded in its aims to shock, educate and upset people but only because there is not enough being done in this country for LGBT rights. Russia is not the only country, but it is the most prominent one that springs to mind on this subject.*Distressing Viewing*
